Quick update from my post yesterday – Jet2 have actually replied (non automated), so at least there’s some traction. They’ve said it can take up to 28 days for them to review everything, so now it’s just a waiting game.
I am also going down how much of it felt mis-sold. For example, the jet2 website clearly advertised an air-conditioned gym with cardio kit, free weights, sauna, whirlpool, and open daily 7am–9pm. In reality, the gym was closed every Sunday (!) and restricted on Saturdays (and really dirty and dangerous, stuff held together by duct-tape) – never experienced limited hours like that before at any resort. (really trivial example), but i train a lot so it impacted my holiday
Even more glaring were entire facilities missing from the property altogether. Jet2’s website shows a children’s play area and certain dining spaces that simply didn’t exist when we got there.
In reality, this is the kids play area.
Plus stuff was really, restricted to all inclusive i.e menu's to padlocking things like ice-cream and water fridges. No mention of this anywhere on the website.
