Asus Rog XG32 UCWMG 4K OLED UK release ?

Haven't really looked into this much, but what's the point when you have QD OLEDs?
WOLED monitors are catching up to QD colour space and getting brighter to boot.

Looks like these are enhanced 3rd gen with 4th gen starting to come out already.

Maybe subscribe to the TFTCentrel YT channel.

Mentions they have a review sample already.

you should definitely subscribe to the YT channel :)

We've also finished a full review of this screen, it's available for our Patreon supporters already but will be going live later today:

Asus have told us it's now in mass production and should be hitting key regions in the near future, although I don't have a firm date for the UK yet. I've asked the question :)

My impatience got the better of me and I ordered the Samsung odyssey g80sd with plans to remove the matte coat.
Brave! Why not just buy a different model that didn’t have the added matte coating? There’s loads of similar QD-OLED options around.

The matte coating is very good on those though. Very low grain, and does an amazing job with glare and reflections

I wanted the tv streaming features and speakers for the kids to use as another tv.
Im hoping the matte isn't to bad and I don't need to bother removing it tbh.
Currently use a 42 c2 oled that I'm itching to downsize.

xg32ucwmg is available to pre order on the overclockers website, may or may not have ordered it . Just a waiting game now for when it actually arrives in stock!

I went with an XG32UCWG, 165hz is plenty for me and realistically who's getting 240 fps at 4k ? I'm loving it so far, I had to loosen the screws on the stand because it was tilted out of the box but that took about 2 mins. No defects to report. Running gsync and I haven't had any oled flicker yet, or non that I've noticed. My only complaint is that the rbg lighting on the back is so dim that its utterly pointless and alt tabbing is slow. Minor gripes really

What do you mean, alt-tabbing is slow ...why would your monitor have any effect on that?

I am considering either the XG32UCWG or the XG32UCDS ...I don't care about the dual mode functionality but I am intrigued by the true black coating of the former although that's not necessarily a major factor, just interested in it, but I use mine in a room with low lighting and behind display lights anyway so reflections are not an issue.

I've been thinking I would like to change to a 4K OLED, currently using an Alienware AW3423DW, recently I played a few games on my secondary display, a 28 inch 4K Samsung Odyssey G7 IPS and I was quite taken at how sharp the textures were in farm sim ...the colours aren't as a good obviously, the blacks are not black and HDR is ..well it isn't, but the sharpness and detail ..wow ...so I'm thinking it's time to combine all of that, OLED and all it's talents and 4K, I have the power, have done for a good while I use a 4080 Super.

I've been going backwards and forwards on weather I want a 27 inch or a 32 inch display, I think 32 inch really, I know it will be very slightly less sharp than the 27 but I use 125% scaling on my 28" IPS in Windows, so I should think I'll be comfortable at 100% scaling on a 32", which is ideal, also I can move it backwards a bit as I have an 80CM deep desk so no worries there, it should be a bit more immersive too. I do want one of the Asus models with the motion sensor, that's a brilliant addition and I can see a real benefit in having that for the way I use my PC.

When in exclusive full screen, alt tabbing results in a transitional black screen for a couple of seconds which upon researching is a by product of DP1.4 and DSC. Borderless full screen is unaffected. As I said its a very minor gripe and after many hours of use doesn't bother me anymore
