There was a update via Windows sometime ago which means it should no longer be necessary to reinstall the OS when switching from 1 CCD to 2. Just install (or reinstall) the new Chipset drivers and then restart PC and you should be good to go. However, if it was me I'd be doing a clean install personally.9800X3D -> 9950X3D, Reinstall Windows 11 or just reinstall chipset drivers ?

One of the improvements that came with the 9950x3D was that a re-install was no longer required coming from different CPUs.9800X3D -> 9950X3D, Reinstall Windows 11 or just reinstall chipset drivers ?
