You know it's a bit silly to come on this thread to complain about its length. By doing that you are bumping it to the top and increasing the chance that it will get more replies!

I believe Maple Leaf is the alt account to another user on here that no one enjoys dealing with... Writing style is identical, IYKYK...
So you cannot deal with facts and logic? If you are insinuating that I am @dowie then you are wrong. Dowie and me have very different opinions on many issues, for example: recreational cannabis legalisation.
Reminds me of another user who hasn't posted since 2021 - long rambling somewhat contradictory replies.
Sorry to disappoint you. I have not been a member here under another name in the past.
So what's with the yellow text in Maple Leaf's replies?
Have you never used a highlighter pen to emphasise key points in an article/research paper? I know that most of the posters here simply cannot be bothered to read most of what I write hence I sometimes highlight critical points so those jump out at them.
TO ALL: It's very telling that none of you actually want to engage with the points I made. Instead you put forward strange conspiracy theories about who I am, ridicule the length of my posts and even criticise my use of coloured text! You do know this is supposed to be a discussion forum? If you don't want to discuss a subject then why post on a thread about it? No one is forcing you to read/reply to my posts. If the moderators think this thread is becoming toxic they will close it to new replies. It seems that this thread is mostly just a long line of people bashing Mikey who are not prepared to look at another point of view, (many have not even read the thread from the start to see what facts were established earlier).
Therefore, I will make this my last post on this thread. There are two critical points that none of you have ever come close to acknowledging:
1) Mikey has raised over £165,700 by his activities for the Justice System. Surely some of that money could be put into proper Police traffic enforcement at the hotspots where motorists drive on the wrong side of the road to avoid waiting in queues (for example at "Gandalf Corner" in Regent's Park). They don't have to put a trainee PCSO there, they could just install a strategically positioned surveillance camera with ANPR to catch people violating the "Keep Left" sign and send them an EFPN by post.
Instead, the Metropolitan Police have actually stopped prosecuting motorists who ignore “Keep Left” or “No Entry” signs. Therefore, the often repeated criticism on this thread that Mikey should simply video these offences and submit them to the Police for prosecution is incorrect.
2) What happens when the Police stop enforcing laws? Eventually, interested civilian parties come into potentially violent conflict with the perpetrators. (I have an Indian friend who witnessed a case there where a reckless driver caused a road accident and local passers-by beat him up because no one trusted the local Police to prosecute him properly!) You, or I, might not be affected by a motorist driving on the wrong side of the road (against the legal traffic flow) to jump a queue at Gandalf Corner in London. However, Mikey started doing his blocking strategy there because an innocent oncoming cyclist was knocked down by a van doing just that there.
If the Police don't enforce the traffic rules then more motorists will break them because they see others getting away with it and then you have a much greater risk of a serious preventable road accident occurring. If this trend continues then inevitably civilians end up doing the jobs which the Police no longer do and then there is much more potential for conflict and violence.
Therefore, I blame the Metropolitan Police for Mikey's risky escalating behaviour. They were happy to take the good publicity, effortless successful convictions and revenue stream he produced (so they let him crack on with his blocking strategy for 6 years), but when one of his blocking attempts turns really nasty they will hang him out to dry.
