50 series 'Super' cards.

The more you buy the more you crave

People buying 5090's already looking forward to the 6090 :p

So the latest rumours I am reading state that the 5070 Ti Super and 5080 Super will replace the 5070 Ti and 5080.

The 4070 Ti and 4080 started disappearing from the market a short time after the Super launched, so yes, that would be expected. It'll give the 5070 Ti Super a stronger hand against the 9070 XT and offer a more compelling reason to buy the 5080, at least, if they weren't upgrading the 5070 Ti at the same time :o

what were the prices like?

I think the Super refresh in all honesty is insulting to customers who bought the 5070, 5070 Ti and 5080.

Its what they have done for 3 generations now, Gentlemen' pattern recognition... the initial launch is for people who will buy anything with an Nvidia badge, the Super Refresh is for those who haven't already bought an AMD alternative but might.

The TDP of the refresh looks insane by comparison, what would be a good guess at total PSU requirement for an entire system with a 5080 Super, I feel like my 1000W Corsair modular might not even cope.
