Jurassic World Rebirth "Scarlett Johansson" woof

Watched it last night.
4/10

What have we learnt? That a Snickers wrapper can shutdown a security system, Dinosaurs can be open source, and at the end of a bad day, everyone still loves looking at dolphins swimming

I almost turned it off but did the phone scroll half watching thing instead. I didn't think the CG was that bad but I wasn't exactly paying too much attention. I remember Scarjo the merc lady who likes money but is the main star so is kind of a goodie. Also random family in danger but not really. There was a bit in the middle where it turned into Indiana Jones for a minute too.

My daughter loved that scene, reason she knocked a point off her score was because there wasn’t enough T-Rex haha
N'aww :)
I loved Dolares too, I'm glad she made it off the island.
I really wanted the daughter to give her a cuddle :( That lil dino was proper cute, the noises it made etc when communicating - TBF, those parts were probably the best thing about the movie; cliche and obviously placed, but we all love animals, and cute ones :D

Dolores making it off the island is cute, until you remember the line about every dinosaur that isn't living in the equator dying. Poor doomed Dolores.

This was pretty bad...

Story was poor.

The family was pointless in everyway. The dad needed to grow a pair and slap the lad around for being a douche.

Dingy didn't puncture, really?!?

CGI was shocking in a lot of scenes. It makes you appreciate just how great JP1 was for it's time.

Acting was poor on a whole and the cast didn't gel.

They thought throwing in a little bit of the score would remedy a bad film.

More dinos please?!? Two raptors...

4/10

Popcorn was nice for once.

Same opinion as most have said, fairly bland and forgettable. The main dinosaur didn't seem to matter and looked a bit "Special":) They need to do a more adult and grittier film really with no children in it, they drive me mad.

Yup really terrible overall, like literally every Jurassic movie plot line with nothing new added in it.

Scarlett's acting was also lacking, its like she just did not want to be there at all. Blade guy though did well but with such a plot and thin lines am surprised it got the hype in first place.

That synopsis reminds me of the last Alien movie, and Deadpool 3.

I had the benefit of watching dominion the in the morning before watching rebirth in cinema.

Dominion was irredeemably awful, so rebirth felt like an amazing film in comparison.
Interesting, I felt the other way. Maybe it was rose tinted glasses, because Domination had previous cast?

I don't mind the jurassic world cast, but I felt dominion was truly dreadful. Very long, lots of padding, dull plot, un engaging clone saga, and lots that didn't feel very jurassic parky.

Rebirth was snappier, better scripted, and felt more like back to the original formula.

Just had to misfortune of watching this trash. Hollywood may as well give up, churning crap like this out. Far and away the worse Jurassic park to date and after the recent rubbish from the series that takes some doing. The Rancor rip off ahahaha dear me.

Fair enough, each to their own :)

For me I was already clutching at straws watching Dominion and the one before it. I only watched it for the hint of nostalgia from the originals. I did like the first Jurassic World for a 1 time viewing, I don't mind Chris Pratt in that, I have watched it more than once and the rose tints fall off more, but watching it once, I'd recommend to someone like the originals. The sequel, less so.

Rebirth, was poor at best, I won't ever rewatch it. It's crazy how poor the effects were in this versus previous movies :(
My fear is now that there's going to be another entire 2-3 of these 'Rebirth' as well, and Christ, imagine how bad they'll be!
