I think you massively underestimate how large a part of peoples "supporting" is trying to wind up opposition fans. Best to try and ignore it as much as possible because the mods have little issue with it.
Correct. If anybody struggles to take some lighthearted banter then they should learn to ignore those posts. If anybody believes a particular poster is continuously posting in a way that they believe is no longer banter but trolling, they can report the post and a member of the mod team will decide if any action needs taking.

And if anybody wants to discuss this or any of the rules further we have the forum content discussion sub forum where this can be done.

I still think Bayindir will be number one for the meantime.

I'm not sure. I'd like to see Lammens go straight in as Bayindir looks a constant liability. The next few games are incredibly difficult though, his confidence could be in tatters.

I'd feel a lot more confident if we'd signed Martinez, I think the board may come to regret that one...

I think throwing in a young keeper with limited experience straight away without even letting him settle and train would be crazy personally.

I would think the majority would agree with this. Throwing him straight in is a sink or swim scenario. Seems crazy. The pressure having to perform in-between the sticks for United is like no other, would be a media frenzy if he struggled.

Nah, throw him straight in against Haaland.

Got his big boy move, if you're scared or can't perform under pressure then frankly this is not the place for him and we should return as goods not fit for purpose.

Da Gea was thrown in young. He turned out alright in the end.

De Gea played for Atletico Madrid, pretty big difference. Even he struggled a lot at first and was rotated with Lindegaard. And that was when the club was doing well.

We haven't applied that logic to Sheshko

I swear I heard some pundits genuinely suggest this
No point in carrying on with the Onana project. He has been living off that Champions League final where Pep lauded him for his performance. Something along the lines of 'it was like playing against 11 outfield players'

The warning signs were there even before he put on a United Shirt. For a top level goal keeper, his handling left a lot to be desired. Consistently pushed ball's out into danger areas. That's down to poor decision making. His distribution with his feet was garbage and he never had control of his box. Then you get pundit's like Rio bigging him up along with his posse of YouTube sycophants Howson 'We have got a PROPPER Goalie on our hands'

He is off to the AFCON later in the year which would have meant Lammens and Bayindir fighting it out for number 1. Might as well bite the bullet now get them sorted
