This is getting utterly stupid. So glad I'm done with this generation of consoles. Sony are just taking the mick with that dominance of theirs.

It's obvious the PS6 will be disc-less at launch in a bid to force more folks onto PSN purchases. At this rate we'll be buying SSD's in no time.

least it’s only generation I remember it occurring but this is a first where consoles have gotten more expensive after they launched

Now we’re seeing this, it’s ridiculous.

And you can bet your bottom dollar, that if an optional disc drive is available for the 6, existing 5 drives will not be compatible!

It would be a shame if the PS6 did not have a disc drive as I use my console as a DVD / Blu-ray player so no idea what I would do if the PS6 or new Xbox didn't come with one.

Well, its almost a year since Silent Hill 2 remake released, and currently its still pretty much full price, i dont think i have ever seen this before!? it did go to around £30 for a short period but went back up, at this point should be £20!

Looks like i will get to play Silent Hill F before 2 lol

It's been on offer a couple of times in the past few months, I'd imagine it'll be £30 again quite soon.

Still enjoying our PS5 Pro, great for crossplay with PC as well, games look and run amazing on Pro. Can't wait for GTA VI to push the system a bit, and see what Rockstar can do with it.

I'm too lazy to go back and check the thread, but I noticed the 30th anniversary hardware is now showing as available to order on playstation direct (in Spain at least)

I can see the controller, ps portal and slim console bundle all at the same prices as last year, with a release date of 29th September 2025.

The latest leak from a very reliable source is saying that the PS6 wil have a detachable drive.

Oh come on - has nobody learnt from the fiasco surrounding the "PS5 leaks" for the year leading up to it's official announcement?
What that year 2019 / 20 should have told people is that the "leakers" and "reliable sources" and "those in the know" most definitely are not.
The PS5 was going to be more powerful than the Series X. It was going to launch with a choice of SSD sizes. There was going to be a Pro version available at launch........

I can almost certainly guarantee that for every "leak" there will be another with the exact opposite information - you can probably guess which leak will be referenced once the device is officially announced.

Got a PS5 Pro after having a standard PS5 since launch. However I have played my Pro once since setting it up. I should just get rid of it and put it towards PC components instead. PSVR2 lying gathering dust too.

I still play my standard one.

I just stay away from it all until something is announced officially. Mostly it is all nonsense.
