Octopus Power Ups and Free Energy Sessions

I managed to use 12.21kWh in the session today. The car actually charged for the full hour this time too.

I won't be able to plug in tomorrow. Do you still get the two hours free electricity on IOG even if you don't plug in? I intend to discharge to 20% beforehand and charge up in the 2 hour window.
 
I did get the battery down to 15% SOC by 11:55, now charging again, but we have 7.8kW of solar, and no clouds, it's been a perfect day so far.

I remembered to turn the hot water down early this morning, so currently pulling about 6kW from the grid.
 
Set car to charge and put washing and dishwasher on. But Octopus went from charging car to suddenly changing it and half hour now car charging from my solar only. Cheeky ***** :p
 
washing machine on, cooker on, oven on, electric fire in lounge on.... as its leathering it down outside and quite chilly. Having a disabled partner that needs to keep warm, this two hours is a bonus to boost the house warmth.
 
Struggling to pull that much here too as its quite sunny. Car is full too so cant plug in.
 
I generated 9.1kwh and exported 7.5kwh during the 2 hour free session. I’d have had to have consumed 22.5kwh over 2 hours just to have broken even.

My car does need charging and if I’d dumped the battery I could have covered the 22.5kwh but I’m only saving 7p/kWh (less via the battery) and I’d have only got a few kWh for free.
 
I managed to pull 7.39 from the grid, 2.06 was to the heat pump, most went in the battery along with the solar, and will get exported later. Clouds arrived at 14:15 and solar tanked.
 
Managed to use 8.84kWh. Yesterday we did 12.21kWh, so 20.05kWh over the two days. Not too bad.

Sunshine tanked here half-way through too.

Hot water, I turned the temperature down early this morning from 50°c to 40, then come midday turned it up to 60°c.

Might as well boost the hot water for free.

Free Electricity Session 12 (noon)-1pm tomorrow.

Victron forecast 5.8 kWh during the hour, weather forecast says light rain and cloud, so should be able to make good use of the free hour.
