12+4 power adaptor with RTX 3000 card

The 12pin socket on the 3xxx FE GPUs would need a cut out for the 4 pin bit to work and there may have other differences so no I believe is the answer.

I used a Cablemod 12+4 on my 3080 FE and it worked well.

Just do a test fit first to make sure the 4 pin part does not foul on anything.

Just to add it works with the Founders Edition, but may not with other aftermarket brands.

Perfect I have a 3080fe.
I just wasn’t sure the pin out was the same .

Weird, must be special model or modified pcb or you loaded different bios

it was an FE model, the 3090 was known to pull upto 600w when overclocked
