hi i purchased 2 gainward phantom 5070ti graphics cards one for me and one for my son have the same problem with both connect them up with the two power leads (not using splitters) they both start flashing as if
power is ok ie the phantom logo on graphics card however when windows runs they do not appear in device manager and nvidea app or nvidia driver says no card found i have tried 2 methods first completely removing all
old drivers etc second i put my old 4070 card back in and added nvidia drivers and app and that was fine then put new card back in with drivers still on system same result no card on system i am completely baffled

Can you talk men through your power cable setup? Is native 16 pin or an adapter? If it's an adapter, how many cables going into it? Are you using any pigtails in the cables?

you have one cable comes out of grahics card that splits so you can add 2 vga cables i have a 1000 watt psu so what i did was used 2 seperate power inputs into the card splitter as i dont like
to use split ones from psu if that makes sence
i have updated bios to latest version on both motherboards as well

Go into the bios and change the pcie speed for the GPU to pcie4 or pcie3.

Do you have identical computers?

no they are both different i have looked for the bios change you mention all it says is enable or disable wont let you change speed

Does it give an option if with your 4070 installed?

Also what speed memory do you have according to the above it's says 2200mhz which doubled is only 4400mhz .

not sure will have a look in bios later and that memory is just what speccy showed me i purchased as a bundle about a month ago
Mite need to enable xmp/docp profile.

Just seems odd that 2 different computers showing the same problem, could try updating the bios on your motherboard but that in itself can be risky.

Mite be the GPU itself but 2 although they are the same , can you send one back for a different model or try it in a 3rd pc.

I assume this is using the integrated graphics by plugging the display cable into the motherboard, right?

What happens when you plug the display cable into the 5070 Ti?

Are both PCs identical?

Ok doesn't sound like there's any issues with the power setup. I don't suppose your PSU has a native 12vhpwr cable?

Think this is where you change PCI-E gen. Not sure which one to change, but someone else may know.
