Show Us Your Motors!

Nice, my only irritation right now is the refusal to remember speed limit warning off, might ask the dealer if it can be coded as default on is annoying. Have set the star on the wheel to hit the screen to turn it off but it’s still annoying. Epic to drive though :)
It's set as default on, you can't change it/code it out. You can however press and hold the mute button for a few seconds when you start the car and it will turn to informational so you don't get the chimes etc. You can then bind the star button to something more useful ;)

EDIT: Just seen people responded with the tip  Can't say I've noticed it flashing on the HUD, but could just be my HUD settings? Will check tomorrow.

Told myself I wouldn't go EV again and go the hybrid route......I went EV again

Already put on over 100 miles within a few hours of driving it. Its comfortable, its practical and its fast, and one of the less ugly looking EVs about at the moment imo.

Turns the chime off but still flashing in HUD… You can assign the star to almost the exact place so it’s quicker to get it off.

It really is for an EV!
So turning it off by holding the mute button stops the speed sign flashing on the HUD for me. The sign is still there to let you know the current limit on the road but it doesn't flash/the car doesn't chime.

Second year service on Wednesday so decided to give it a clean before. Had a sesh this morning. Snowfoam followed by touch wash, two stage polish and ceramic coating. Started at 9:30 and finished at 15:30. Got the missus to drive to Skegness for some fish and chips as I was knackered by the end. Detailing is a young kids game and I still need to do the interior and engine bay!

Looks great, I like the colour and wheels/mirrors, still want one myself but I’d have to give up the Elise which…I can’t.

Is that a GT-Four behind?

I know but we aren’t EU ;)

I wouldn’t care but cars get them totally wrong where I am and honestly flashing at you for going 31 is overkill. That’s the only thing really it’s just annoying you can save almost anything on profile but not this. Aside from that daily few presses the things ace.

Edit: I see it’s adopted UK law since July 24 sadly…
Interestingly Tesla have done this properly, and haven't implemented the stupid speed notifications in the UK

Busy couple of months for the S2000. Ohlins fitted, alignment done. Milltek is on as well as a K&N FIPK,the noise is just :D Got a new steering wheel, arm rest and gaiter along with an FK8 gear knob and an acuity shift collar so it doesn't sit all saggy like the gaiters seems to do in these.

Just had an underside cleaning done along with Lanoguard application. Did consider ice blasting but the cost is pretty mental at the moment. Might be something I look into in the future. Next job is a front end refresh it's absolutely covered in stone chips but for the meantime just enjoy driving the crap out of it. Bloody love this car.

Knowing me I can see myself in a third S2000 at some point in future. :D
I just love the drivetrain / powertrain, so amazing and there will never be a gear box or motor like it ever again, or certainly not affordable.

I got papped as I drove up the hill toward Brands Hatch early on Sunday morning. Wasn't even going there for the event, but I saw the billboard behind the photographer and found the photo. Better than anything I can manage and the first rolling shot of my car, so bought one of the 3 photos they took.

It's my second and I'll never be selling it. Life time purchase for me now and I've got a good garage to keep it in too. For me it's the perfect nice weather fun car. Massively exciting to drive, not particularly quick by modern standards but definitely feels "fast"

Do it :D
