We both just went to use our bonus 200 cdkoins awarded last month after using all our existing koins at the time, because the expiry date for them is today and they've been removed from both our accounts at least ~2.5 hours early... Booo hiss!

Similar promo back in March had 200 koins with expiry 24/3 and we both used the bonus koins on 24/3 to buy games at discount.
 
They diddled me out of some coins the other year too, and when I raised a ticket I had one of the most unprofessional responses I've seen blaming me for an issue they were having with their website. Clearly they don't care about your business, which is why they don't get mine anymore.

Oh well, I probably would have bought Hogwarts Legacy from them if I knew the coins were expiring, now I won't. It really wasn't clear the coins would expire to me at least

The Surge 2 is a much better game IMO. 2 is great. 1 was a bit of a chore, but I played 2 first.

Does Souls Like, mean people like me who are pretty below average at gaming shouldn't bother?
 
It's that time again, my Gamepass subscription is running out - Having apparently cost me £4.99 in 2019 and £9.16 in 2022

Looking back, it appears I bought 3x 12 month Xbox Live gold memberships for £26.99 each from CD Keys and somehow converted that in to 3 years worth of Ultimate.

What's the best option now? Happy to let it expire first if that gets you the best option.

IIRC, EA play 3 years -> 1 years GPU. Roughly £60, then the extra cost for the conversion and whatever time that adds on. Though I looked for people after their sub had expired. So might be different with an active sub.

I know I saw people mention Pc pass at one point, that may have been for an active sub.

Edit: I've also seen some people say that we're cracking down in VPN usage. Though others were still using GP India codes from amazon in India. Don't think it was much cheaper than the EA play method though.

No,

You drop your cash when you die and you can go and pick it up again. Upgradable weapons..unlockable shortcuts, respawning enemies. that's about it.

It can be quite hard but it is mostly fair. You can make it easier with upgrades to help with parrying etc.
learning your way around the maps can be a bit confusing.

The surge 2 is a lot more approachable IMO

Given the price I should probably give 1 of them a go. Do you think I should start on 2 or 1? I'm guessing 2, although is the lore that is spoiled doing it this way?

Speaking of maps I'm currently playing Borderlands 2 and spending most of my time getting lost. But the gameplay and stragising are really fun.

I started with 2. Then played 1 and went back to 2 for a couple more runs :D
You won't miss too much story..Theres a few references but it's not important IMO.
I would suggest 2.
