I thought it was supposed to be autumn its full on summer the last few days fan is back on, at least the local kids have given up kicking a football outside now that schools are back, peace at last.

We've started closing the windows in the evening, recently had the odd morning when it's dropped to approx 10C overnight.

I’ve had 2 spiders in the house this week, that tells me summer is over. Moved the fan as well, not needed it since the last heatwave.

Closed my window as well at night to stop the creepy crawlys coming in but hasn’t stopped them!

Yeah, doesn't feel cold at all. Hovering over 20c, so it's still average summer temps.

South of around Norwich, at least in England, most places are around 19/20C this morning.

But Wales, Ireland and especailly Scotland are much more in the low teens.

Glad I wasn't out in the last few minutes, short heavy shower in Southampton, that Wunderground hadn't forecast (but I could see rain patches around west of IOW eearlier, so good odds of something here).
