Google Pixel 10 Series (10/10 Pro/10 Pro XL/10 Pro Fold & Pixel Watch 4)

We're looking to upgrade our P7 Pros but after reading this thread it seems like the P10 family isn't performing great.

Might be a good opportunity to get out of the Google ecosystem..

This is pretty much exactly what I'm thinking, and I noticed last might when I was looking at them both next to each other that my 10 XL has a pink tint to the display.
Best thing about returns was it was super rapid. Sent last Thursday 11am. Got to Poland the next day and Google accepted and processed refund by 1pm.

Yeah that's good to hear. It's a shame as I really wanted to keep it tbh. But now I've noticed the pink screen I think that's the final nail in the coffin.

After seeing the pricing for the standard iphone 17 , i think google need to alter their pricing, 256GB standard on the iphone now for £799 and finally 120hz , 256GB pixel 10 £899.

Ive had every pixel phone, currently using a s24 ultra and a pixel 9 pro xl

I found myself looking at the Samsung products when the Fold7 was released. I'm nit sure I could move away from the Pixel software now...

I think the 10 Pro is a big upgrade over the P7P but not for a P8 series of any type. Gamers excluded!

Apple had to make a big move yesterday, I actually think the biggest is the removal of the glass back on the 17 Pro for aluminium, that for me, is a big positive move from Apple and a pause for thought. As are the RAM bumps.

The 120hz move was well overdue but they had to do that switch IMHO.

Samsung software is horrific but they still retain a USP which is the live telephone call translation using AI. Its a killer feature if you are EU based.

well i came from 8pro and see the difference in daily normal use.

suppose all depends what you need from the phone, if you run benchmarks etc.

I came from an 8 pro and went for the non XL 10 pro. I'm appreciating the softer edges and smaller phone dimensions.

Difference was absolutely minimal for me compared to the 8 Pro. And a downgrade in handset design.

My take is it's an absolutely lazy release form Google, especially ofr it's 10th anniversary. From the mediocre SoC to the battery life, from the iPhone esque rounded corners to the cash grab buy our charger for max charging speeds... and the same old tiny cam sensors on the telephoto lens...of which there should be a 3x and a mega 5x (big sensor). All of this is just covered up by flashy marketing, promotions and false claims.

The only good thing is the new A16 has made the 8 Pro feel a little fresher than it was. Enough to tide me over to next year or something else.

My pink tint was very bad. Took 3 days to exchange and the pink tint is not present on the new device, it's actually better than my 8 pro.

Disappointing thought node improvement and going with tscm would have improved battery efficiency more , can go back few models back and the difference is miniscule

I have the Pixel 7 pro since the release.

Went to a phone shop at the weekend, played with the new Pixel 10 pro XL. I'm so disappointed with it. I expected a much better phone. I also had a play with the S25 Ultra it's much far superior phone than the Pixel 10 pro XL. The biggest letdown is the price point. It's the same price as the S25 Ultra.

Pixel 7 Pro was around £150 - £200 less than the flagship phones. But now the Pixel 10 Pro XL is far too expensive for what it is.

I've decided to go for the S25 Ultra. Sorry Google.

My 10 XL literally lasts hours more SOT Vs my 8 pro, definitely improvements.

Yeah you'll see more because batteries lose health from charging cycles over time you should be able to check battery health percentage in battery information so unfair comparing phone with degraded battery to brand new one

Replacing the battery will see the gap close and it's cheaper, I don't really mind the miniscule progress because I can hold on to phone longer just replacing the battery and feel like I'm not losing out on much

Hmmm, the more I think about it the more I think I didn't get asked for an IMEI this time.
Well nothing I can do about it now except wait and see. I can always give them my IMEI if it does become a problem.
Thankfully, they've confirmed receipt.
One less anxiety to deal with!

I was sent a 10% off Google Store code that can be applied to the P10 range (among other things).
I don't need it, so if anyone wants it, drop me a message. First come first served.
