AMD equivalent of Nvidia Gsync + Vsync enabled

Hello,

When I had an Nvidia card, it was always advised to enable Gsync and set Vsync to on in the Nvidia Control Panel and this resulted in really smooth gameplay, especially at high FPS. Now I have an AMD card, a 9060xt 16gb and I'm running Valorant at a constant 165Hz with freesync on, but the gameplay doesn't seem as smooth as it did when I had the Nvidia card, hard to explain but it's just not as fluid. Is there a certain configuration of settings to improve this?

I use radeon chill and set a max frame rate. Rather than any vsync options

What I've found is that you can do the exact same thing that people do on Nvidia, adaptive sync on, Vsync on and set a frame rate cap to 2-3 below your refresh rate. Results in really smooth gameplay
 
The accepted "proper" nVidia configuration for comparison is:

GSYNC - On
VSYNC - On in Control Panel, Off In Game
Low Latency Mode - Ultra (Set Reflex on in-game)
Frame Rate Cap - Off, unless game doesnt support Reflex in which case cap FPS below refresh rate in control panel.

The Low Latency mode/Reflex in Ultra will handle the FPS cap for you. This combination of settings provides all the GSYNC benefits with proper frame pacing that capping FPS alone wont manage. Ideally you should never set an FPS cap unless reflex is unsupported.

I'm not sure if AMD has the equivilant of Low Latency Mode/Reflex to achieve the same outcome nor am I aware of how AMD handles VSYNC in with adaptive sync enabled.

Iirc to get the real number you need (for reflex FPS cap) you do Hz X Hz ÷ 3000 and that gives you the number to remove from your FPS cap
