Trading the stockmarket (NO Referrals)

Well GameStop is just bouncing around at the. Moment 10 percent up then 3 , 5 as I post, results seemed good , seems they are also giving warrants to buy at $32 in the future for every so many shares

Seeing loads of people spazzing out over this. From my very briefly googled understanding, you get a permit to buy a share at $32 at any time in the next year, regardless of what the share price is at the time. Looking at their price history, this seems to hover around the $25 mark, so it's not exactly a massive win unless it somehow goes sky high.

I do wonder though, if I buy some on T212, will I get the warrants, and if so, if it's not too late.

Apparently the gov won't allow this if those shares are in an ISA to be mindful of that.

Screw it, I just bought 50 shares to see what happens. Whether I buy a lambo or a datsun remains to be seen.

Ah I trade in my ISA so won't get those then , glad to be on board though even if it's a small amount I have

I hadn't realized Oracle was so into datacenter/AI stuff.....I just associate it with the **** OLTP database everyone stopped using and moved to Postgres when Oracle started playing silly buggers with it.

Same, and I work in the area but avoid it like plague as it’s a massive pain :D never really kept an eye on their stock. Fair play to those that made good money out of it today.z

I just moved some cash from my S&S ISA to a shares account and bought like that. If it goes to plan, the profit will far outweigh any tax implications.

If.

Massive if.

Which means I'll be down a grand and a bagholder.

Doing an experiment today with my profits ( determined to lose it lol) so as there's been a short squeeze or a crypto frenzy causing 1000 percent rises I am throwing a couple of hundred into a few that look like they may take off (overnight gains and hype)
As I see it I expect a 100 quid loss but .............
Oh yeah this is gambling not investing for sure , agreed !
Both are set to be bought at 9am ( pre market) couldn't buy overnight, will keep you entertained with my losses in due course

My experiment sucks, should have put it on red, still early though

Bought a little Adobe

Seem reasonably priced, good earnings with not much of a pump considering.

Know risk of maybe Figma (currently overvalued based on revenue) and AI but currently still printing profits.

As regards my silly experiment I had one flop that I sold and ended up with Nuai , £12 down , it has recent good news but also a threat of delisting , I just hope I don't get a reverse split to keep the price above Nasdaq minimums , so it's a (very) wildcard, can't believe I was sober when I did these trades tbh

Quantum stocks ripping higher today.
