yeah - watched the two part documentary.

I "think" Canelo wins just purely due to not having to come up two weight classes. Crawford is top top tier but stepping up two weight classes could be hard.

Both fantastic boxers - great stories - certainly Canelo is in the top tier all time.

Crawford has been hurt before though, it will be interesting to see if he can actually take a good head shot from Canelo
 
It's certainly an intriguing fight which we don't get many of these days!

Few imponderables, can Crawford cope with the weight jump and fighting a true elite at it? is Canelo at 35 and with nearly 70 fights on the clock getting shop worn?

As above I might fancy getting up for this one being on Netflix and not some PPV ****!

Does sum up the state of the fight game these days though that this fight has barely made a mark in the mainstream press but some Mickey Mouse matchup with YouTubers or old has beens gets everyone talking!
 
I've never really been a fan of the jumping weight classes. It's intriguing, no doubt, purely because it's an interesting exercise but I'm just not a fan of a compromised fight, I'd rather both be fighters be at their best weight. Therefore I don't class it as a huge fight - even though they're both elite.

A bit like how Bivol Canelo wasn't comparable to Bivol Beterbiev.
 
I love Crawford and think if anyone could jump weights and be successful, he can do it

But weight classes are there for a reason. My heart says a Crawford masterclass but if I take my fanboy hat off, Canelo is just too big and used to banging with the big boys (stop laughing at the back)

100% agree with this - Would love to see a Crawford win, but head says Canelo on points, just.... with probably a 2nd fight already contracted
 
what a great event in ireland tonight every fight was good but then got ruined in the last two title fights with pure fixes. boxing does itself no favours doing this.

key to knowing when a fix is on. hometown fighter. pause in bringing scores out. whenever there is a pause you know the one that won has just lost on points.

They need time to cook up the fix.

My prediction:

Crawford to get dropped in the first 4 rounds but gets to his feet, survives the round and then makes adjustments to win on points.

Real question is will I make it to the final round.
