Somehow Onana officially off Man Utds hands now, God knows how.
Brutal and amusing attack piece on him here in the Independant. https://www.msn.com/en-au/sport/foo...1&cvid=68c38c2d276d4f698fc6af6ba4c31cf4&ei=15

For most other clubs even having one player of such a high transfer value flopping and bundled out the back door for a massive loss the way he has would be catastrophic. Let alone how many Man Utd have yet still makes no difference to them. Few hundred mil on a new forward line and we go again.

haha, i don't if it's just me but the entirety of this post seems like the imaginative current train of loading on Man Utd for clickbait.

He cost 47.2m, hardly bank breaking in todays market. Signings being 'Catastrophic for a club...' when was this last the case? What is catastrophic? Feels hyperbolic.

Other big clubs who have very recently shuffled people somewhat quietly out the door with no where near as much vitriol as Onana has received from the general press...

Liverpool - Nunes £64million / City - Jack Grealish £100million. and i'll add Chelsea - Mudryk - 62million who may as well be out the door if he didn't have a doping ban suspension.

That’s entirely my point. These clubs can just write off this kind of loss while the other 15 or so would face the risk of financial ruin.

Other clubs don't generally buy at the same value for that reason. You're comparing Waitrose to the town square butcher. They do the same thing but it's a different scale and risk.

Your point and the lead was making fun of Onana and the lack of value and then trying to claim other clubs operate within the same parameters as one of the 'big' clubs.

Onana wasn't the best investment, he wasn't the worst either and didn't cost a great deal.
