I have 3 PCs running Win 10 which can't be upgraded to Win 11. Two of these have been offered the above free security updates for a year (if i enrol).

- 1) laptop 2014. I have enrolled as it was offered and I have a micosoft account associated with it - although I sign on with a local account.

- 2) desktop 2015 - I have been offered the enrollment but I do not have a micorsoft account associated with it - I sign on locally. If I associate this PC with my Microsoft account (can I use the same one as above) can I still sign on locally?

- 3) desktop (oldest - 2012) PC - I have a microsoft account associated with it but sign on locally, I have not been offered the chance to enrol?

Can anyone add helpful advice please? Thanks, Mel

UPDATE - 1) laptop 2014. enrolled to extra year's updates - I sign on with an MS account with a pin.

- 2) desktop 2015 - enrolled to extra year's updates by signing into a microsoft but - still sign on locally.

- 3) desktop (oldest - 2010) PC - associated with (same) microsoft account but sign on locally. Updated but not been offered the chance to enrol for extra years safety updates.

- 4) Asus Eee (2010) - updated but no enrollment offered. So a ragbag! 1) and 2) I can live with. Will have to transfer stuff from PC 3 (e.g. email) as it is getting OLD! (like me).
