Here’s your first look at the Samsung Galaxy S26 dummies, Launching in February, and it looks like Samsung is going with a design very similar to the iPhone 17.

Base don the stuff coming out at the minute, this looks like it's more of a side-step/downgrade than an upgrade.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra's new 3x sensor is actually degraded, with only 10mp f 2.4 1/3.94 1.0um,It is smaller than the current S25 Ultra IMX754.
You can think of it as Samsung downgrading the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s 3x telephoto camera to the same lower-quality spec as the Galaxy S25. That is: 10MP, F2.4, 1/3.94-inch sensor, 1.0µm pixels. So don’t expect any improvements in the S26 Pro either—it will definitely have the same configuration.
Never touched an Iphone but that 17 release makes everybody else look a bit amateuer!
Was actually looking at the Xiaomi 15 the other day. The upcoming HyperOS 3 update looks great. Better status bar icons etcThe Chinese phone makers are the one's that are making everyone look amateur with their bigger batteries (lighter) and much larger cam sensors.
They're all giving SD elites too... and their software has come along way and it's no longer a sticking point.
Agreed I've been using the Oppo Find N5 foldable for 6 months and it's been brilliant. Their Find X9 Pro slab phone is rumoured to have a 7500mah battery but will wait to see what their next gen foldable is like before anything. The Chinese phone makers are the one's that are making everyone look amateur with their bigger batteries (lighter) and much larger cam sensors.

I would rather keep the size, and have larger battery and features (like BT S-Pen) but have rounder sides to making it easier to hold.Really not thrilled about thin trend, thought we were over that few years ago. As a result most rumours point to same 5,000 mAh battery so doesn't sound like going to be any breakthroughs in that department this year.
The ones I hope become more common in the UK again are Vivo *x200* and Huawei *Pura 80*The Chinese phone makers are the one's that are making everyone look amateur with their bigger batteries (lighter) and much larger cam sensors.

Chinese are doing so great stuff, Samsung was doing this in the past but now they are just Apple, I think its most due to the fact they are at the top and the biggest restriction on Chinese brands.looking forward to what the Chinese brands bring this time I'm hearing 7000mah-7500mah bump in battery but wished oppo and Vivo did global variations of the ultras
Think I'll be jumping to one of the foldable Chinese brands soon
Yes I'm looking forward to the OnePlus 14 with the mega battery. I hope their cameras are a step up this time as the rest of the package is solid.looking forward to what the Chinese brands bring this time I'm hearing 7000mah-7500mah bump in battery but wished oppo and Vivo did global variations of the ultras
