The obvious question is, what does 70ish million get you in terms of a striker these days?
Not much when you consider Jhon Duran went for £65m and Liverpool felt they had to spend £120m on Isak. Game's gone mad.

2 seasons ago it was still a hefty chunk of change, I think he was the 4th most expensive striker signing in pl history

It was a poor signing in terms of value. No real top flight scoring record and technically far from exceptional. At one point I thought he might be ok but never as your main striker with no competition or mentor. I hope he does well.
