Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [13th - 14th September 2025]

Not sure what to expect today in the Manchester derby, I'm hoping Sesko starts front and centre and has a good game. He's fairly young but not inexperienced, he knows the score.
You’ll get tanked

However draw would suit me so you both drop pts not cause Utd are a risk to us but city could challenge again this year

I hope we see more from Wirtz we need a game where he takes it by storm
This is the sort of match where we should be seeing more of him, he's had a tough start to the league playing against teams with some strong midfielders in them, Burnleys midfield ought to be a better midfield for him to get to grips with the league and its play style.

City don't look the same side as previous years though, I know it's early days but it's looking like a bit of a repeat of last season in these early stages.

Ignoring the Grimsby game our stats this season have been pretty good, but the sample size is small so today's game is quite intriguing. Not sure it really changes much either way (unless it's a heavy loss).

I hope so. As there is a proper player in there we just need to give him more time perhaps of course

I always think that midfield is the hardest area to adjust to a new league in, because unlike other areas of the pitch, you are in the thick of everything.
Very true, strikers probably have it easier in sense as if scoring but don’t necessarily do all the leg work it won’t be as looked at in comparison
