I think man utd are also 15th for big chance creation so far this season, high shot volume but low chances - but as someone said its 3 games and a tiny sample size.

Who is this Mark Goldbridge fella who's spouting about Grimsby getting kicked out of the cup?

I'm not a MUFC fan so you'll have to forgive me, but he seems like a bit of a moron.
Definitely looks like one.

ignore him. he's a plank. grimsby aren't getting kicked out of the cup, they've been fined and the issue is over and done with. grimsby won the game fair and square. the lads registration was a few minutes late for gods sake, gimps like Goldbridge should just get over it. we were pony that day and got exactly what we deserved not because grimsby had a dodgy player on the field but because we were turbo pants.

He is a YouTuber so he does have an agenda (clicks and likes) however he is also a fan and I think he does speak a lot of sense. And he his quite funny (although tries a bit too hard at times) especially his Onana compilation video. Some from the EtH reign are funny too.

Maybe I’m getting old but I just don’t get why people watch him. His character just isn’t my cup of tea. Although I do respect him for being able to act so well as a complete clown for likes/views.

His main thing is being controversal and being a bit shouty and losing his rag. But don't fall for the impression he's some wack job that's doing this out of some inherent and basic love for utd. All that shouty shouty thing is very much a business.

The bank balance of his 5 companies increased by over £3M in the year ending 2023 according to here:-

This piece said he earned £300K in 2024 for his youtube channels.

He and and gary neville's "the overlap" both recently got the rights to broadcast bundesliga games live on youtube.

Very impressive stuff to be fair.

Certainly has the ability for it. Reminds me of AFTV for a while it was essential viewing and they must have made a fortune from it.

Don’t think they’ll be making nearly as much now that they’re good.

Bayindir in goal for Sunday then

Altay Bayindir will retain his place in goal for Manchester United in Sunday's derby against neighbours City - but head coach Ruben Amorim says new arrival Senne Lammens has potential to be first choice "for a number of years".

I'm starting to think that, although outwardly the club state they want to win the league and get back into Europe, inside the club/at the senior management level they have accepted that it's top 10 at best this season. Obviously they're not going to sing from the roof tops about this.

what makes you think that? not disagreeing, just curious how you came to think that? i'd have thought top 10 with good cohesive football would have been the minimum expectation. top 6 would be very very good but probably a bit too much to ask without a substantially less porous midfield.

Striker and keeper are young and unproven at high level football, never mind EPL. They're not rushing Sheshko or the new keeper in. That's two critical positions on the pitch that have big question marks over them.

They've also very recently said they're going to extend Amroim's contract. So they must feel like they're doing the best they can.

They must surely have realised what LvG did, that the club (still) needs a complete overhaul and that will take time.
