One of our neighbours' wheelie bin put out their wheelie on a Thursday evening last year, ready for recycling collection on Friday, and I remember it being so windy overnight. Woke up on Friday morning to see their wheelie bin knocked over and all of the rubbish everywhere on the pavement and spilling onto the roadBit windy out there and lo and behold our great nation decides they will put their recycling bins out in a storm with no protection from the elements
to note, the recycling is tomorrow morning not today so even worse
That is my point, there is usually loads of rubbish going everywhere because they haven't secured the bin. Most of it ends up down my driveway too because it's like a wind tunnel when the wind blows a certain direction. One of our neighbours' wheelie bin put out their wheelie on a Thursday evening last year, ready for recycling collection on Friday, and I remember it being so windy overnight. I've had Seasonal Affective Disorder for over 30 years.Jesus we've had months of endless sunshine and no rain, and we get a bit of rain and suddenly you're 'SAD'?!
Sorry to hear that. Really irritating how the weather can have this effect on us.I've had Seasonal Affective Disorder for over 30 years.
Being a postie for 13 years helped me through the autumn-winter, as did the five years of fitness cycling, but both ended in September '22, when covid became long covid that still affects me today. I've not worked since.
The ebike bought at Easter got me out far more often and for far longer than anything else this last three years, but I've barely ridden outside this last three weeks because of the rain.
I've gone from going out on the ebike 4/5 times a week, to not much more than 5 times all month.
During September, I've struggled increasingly with tiredness and brain fog (without having knowingly overdone it on the bike), while noticing I'm snacking more in the evenings, classic SAD symptoms...
That came on over three weeks, rather than a light switch being pressed.
