Gave my Lian Li O11D Mini a bit of an overhaul today.. ugraded the PSU (from 750w to 1000w), upgraded the CPU (from 12600K to 14700K), upgraded my AIO from NZXT Kraken Elite 280mm (side mounted) to Lian Li HydroShift II 360mm (top mounted with the help of Lian Li offset brackets!), also used these offset brackets to mount the rear exhaust fan! and swapped out all of my old fans (Cooler Master Halo 2) for 3x Lian Li TL 120mm intake fans, 1x Lian Li TL 120mm exhaust fan and 2x Lian Li TL LCD 140mm for side intake and finished it off with Lian Li Strimmers for motherboard and GPU. There wasn't a whole lot of room in this case!! - but surprisingly, I managed to shoehorn everything in without too much drama! - just got creative with the cable routing and brackets for the rear exhaust fan - thought some of you would appreciate the effort on here as you don't see a lot of Lian Li O11D Mini's with 360 AIO's.

Really happy with the temps considering the smallish form factor and the fish tank design - CPU idles around 32c-35c and GPU idles around 29c-32c - underload the highest I've seen CPU reach is low 70c's and GPU is high 60c's - very happy with the end result

Looking very good.

Seen any improvments in the temps?
thanks!! :) - Hard to say as i don't have a true like for like comparison as i swapped out the AIO and CPU at the same time!.. but from what i can see from others experiences 32-35c ssems to be on the cooler side of things for a 14700K and the fact it never really gets above low 70's under load is pretty good also - so think the Lian Li HydroShift II 360 is definitely helping in that regard.

Like it a lot.

Only thing for me is the having the temps both on the CPU cooler and on the Fans, seems abit redundent to me.

Also agree that its nice not to see RGB rainbow as well.

agree!! - think i need to work out what stats I'm showing across all the screens now.. :)

Looks.great. what do you use to run the rgb? Lian lis sync.module ?
Lian Li L-Connect for the fan curves, AIO and all the fans and strimmers
Fury Ctrl for the RAM
ASRock Polychrome for the GPU
Windows Dynamic Lighting for the motherboard

Sounds horrific - but they all play nicely together with no conflicts, and they're pretty much set once and forget about it. Tried SignalRGB and OpenRGB in previous builds and didn't get on with it.. might try the BETA version of L Connect at some point as it now incorporates OpenRGB - but happy with the current config at the moment.

Seems a lot of software just to control the RGB.

Could you not get 1 bit of software for them all?

It’s actually fine - like I said before - you mostly use them once and set them and forget about them until you want to change again - it’s not something you’re constantly using.

Also as mentioned above - I might try the BETA version of L Connect at some point as they incorporate OpenRGB - but I’m also pretty sure that won’t be able to do the rgb on the GPU (same as signal) so either way you’re likely never to be able to get to down to one software anyway..

It’s honestly no real drama unless you’re switching themes every time you login

looks fantastic I would have used a cheaper RGB AIO at the top, and just used the 140 LCD at the rear to show the temps! I do understand how good the lian li aio with inf fans looks though
thanks!! :) - so, there were a couple of reasons I went with the Lian Li Hydroshift II 360 - the main one being that i was upgrading the CPU at the same time to a 14700K and they are notorious for running pretty hot so had to ensure i had something capable of cooling them in quite a small and confined case. The second reason was that I was trying to cut down the software i was using for cooling and RGB (I had an NZXT Kraken Elite RGB v2 before) and CAM is ****!! - so both points were addressed by using this! - I also really like the look (prefer it over the NZXT) and the software is 100 times better to use.

fair enough, are all the rgb effects ran by a supplied wifi dongle then, on every fan?

No I only use one Wifi dongle - 1 WiFi dongle can run up to 10 groups - I technically only have 8 groups per below (so only need the one - and have a few 'spare! LOL!) :)

great, so the Lian Li HydroShift II is wireless? we are about to do a lian li build for my son with a v100 vector case, but I skimpped on the top aio because the lian li aio 360 that says it is wireless is £203 (elsewhere) So we just plumped for the

Thermalright Aqua Elite 360 Black ARGB V3 which is £100 less than theHydroShift II, still, I might try and find the extra cash to get the same as you since the asetic looks so good! did the offsets come with the case?

If I didn't get the hydroshift then I could afford the strimmers, did you get the strimmers from here, or elsewhere?
