Yes plus the loudness is noticeably lowerr using the SE connection on the LCD-5, why would I actively not use the amp's full power output via balanced if its there to use,
Yeah, I got mine on Friday. My thoughts were it kinda comes in the middle of the Pure/Hexa tonally. A bit more bass than the Hexa, less than the Pure. Vocals and mid a little better than the Hexa, similar to the Pure. Highs, not as much as the Hexa, similar to the Pure. Detail wise I think it's got less detail in the highs than either Hexa or the Pure, but is a little smoother overall there. I may have ruined myself with getting an expensive pair of planars, in the DCA Noire XO, as they handle highs really well, and comparing the 3 iems, is unfair, as they handle things like twangy steel guitars, cymbals and tamborines a little unnaturally.@Starvald have you got yours yet?
I have been listening on them this lunch hour, only using my Apple dongle. The Hexa need about 3-4 from the bottom on the Mac's built in volume to match the Dunu on the very first mark. They are so easy to drive, you don't need an amp at all.
It's funny that on the graph on Squiglink the bass (and the rest of the curve) is very similar to the Hexa but I swear there is more bass with this. It might be new toy syndrome, but the vocals are very good too, perhaps nicer than Hexa. The imagining, placement of instruments is really good.
I am getting that feeling of how can I beat this lol. I didn't even buy this for the IEM but I really like them!

I think they trade blows with the Hexa/Pure, so are fighting in their correct division for sure. The accessory bundle is fantastic, the cable is great. Still have to get them out into their expected use case, as I'm waiting on the Chord Poly I bought to be fixed :/ at which point I'm going to be going through all the iems I bought these past 2 months, and comparing them over lunch breaks and walks.
Mine came too, but forgot its 3.5mm so need to find a USB to 3.5mm for the phone now lol. Will test them with the DX5 II later.Got the Dunu Titan today.
Tips for dayssssss, so many tips.
Cable is lovely.
Metal shell construction for the IEM.
Sounds quite close to the EW300.
I think I will use these at home with the 4.4mm out. Oh, these are really easy to drive, only using the Apply dongle DAC on the Mac and I am on the lowest volume setting out of the computer.

Yeah I'm sort of the same. I don't need a new pair of headphones, my MX5 are fine but they aren't lovely like the B&W PX7-S3 are that I listened to the other day, so I want a pair.I don't needs it but I wants it...

But then I look at the PX8 and Dali IO8 because they are also well regarded as audiophine headphones.
Need loads of stars before and after "HEADPHONES CHAT" - That's all![]()
