I've never bothered with it, but I'm quite tempted for the iPhone17. The Apple website says it costs £349 to replace the screen if cracked :eek: I've only ever cracked one screen in my life back in the iPhone6 days, and I think it was around £150 at the time. But for the price of a new screen if I crack my ordered iPhone17, it could be worth it.

I got the Spigen one for my 14 Pro. It has been fine.
 
Apple offered me £435 for my 15 pro 256G. Mazumbamobile has offered me £525. I know a lot of these companies will try to barter down the price, but this phone is immaculate, so I expect to get the full price.

You get 2 weeks to get it to them, so with the 17 pro arriving on Friday, that should give me plenty of time to get my old one to mazumba.
 
Ordered phone watch and pods...though went for the midnight blue or whatever...im too shy for loud orange lol.

I’m on a 15pro and I can’t see any reason to get a 17 model, I like to keep a phone for a fair while though, and I couldn’t afford a new iPhone every year or two. Just curious really.

My partner has the 13 Pro Max and she’s constantly out of space, battery health is 72% and she’s unable to do iOS upgrade. So I’m upgrading to the 17 Pro Max and giving her my 16 Pro Max which will be a nice upgrade for her.

I was tempted by the orange one but think I'll keep my 16 Pro for another year.

The smaller gap in hardware between the regular and Pro this year makes me think there might be a bigger Pro upgrade next year

People saying the Orange looks a lot better in the photos/videos than in person so looks like you made the right choice!
 
Just noticed the antenna goes round the whole of the plateau. Wonder if that means better signal.

Anyone have any suggestions for screen protectors that feel as close as possible to a real screen? I've not touched one since I had my iPhone 5S to be honest, so can assume they feel a lot better these days, but not sure what to buy! It's all just full of marketing words :D

Screens are solid these days, go without.
 
I think the silver Pro Max looks pretty terrible with that white slab on the back. It looks so out of place. In my opinion it is the worst of the three because of that alone but I think I’m in the minority as the availability of the silver models seemed to slip before the others.

Ideally I would’ve gone for blue but I’ve ordered a silver because it’s all that was available for Friday. It’ll have a case on and will be hidden anyway so no big deal I guess.
