Yes it will work with that gpu but it wouldn’t be my first choice. Gamemax don’t have much of a reputation for quality psu’s

As mentioned, Gamemax do not make good PSUs.
It'll probably be fine but if you have other options you should consider them first.

Get something else.

As already said, Gamemax has a poor reputation, plus how can that PSU support high end GPU's when it only has 2 x 8 pin PCI-E cables. Think it only has a 2 year warranty, i would want at least 7 years.

Fair enough it may work with a few RX 9070 XT's, but most others need 3 x 8 pin or a 16 pin 12VHPWR cable, including your RTX 5070 (i think).

Apparently it is very hard/impossible to buy extra cables for that PSU as well.

Its already in my pc however now I'm thinking to upgrade the psu too thankyou.

Scan said just use the adapter that comes with the card, but now I'm looking to upgrade. Thankyou

Already own it I can upgrade £100 would be my budget, Id want a full modular any other recommendations or brands to buy, thanks for replying

For £100 I'd either go for the Corsair RM750e or this Seasonic if you want higher wattage and are ok with semi-modular. The fixed cables on the semi-modular are the cables you're going to be using anyway - nothing extra.

Edit - Corsair removed - see advice below.

Don't buy the Corsair RM750e as it's worse than the model it replaced and has a 3 year shorter warranty to reflect this (old version had 10 years). I would go for the Phanteks AMP GH 750 at £85 or even the 850w version although it's a fiver over budget.

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £197.93 (includes delivery: £7.99)

I've had the phanteks amp 850w for a few months, seems like a solid choice and comes with the regular gpu power connectors as well as the weird 12vHP one if you need it.
