I was hoping I'd get used to it as time went on but to be completely honest it's now been ~2 weeks and I'm still not liking how 'bubbly' it all is...

Anyone else notice that their menu bar sometimes doesn't appear for a few seconds after logging in under Tahoe. Never noticed this under Sequoia. I was wondering if it was just me or maybe a clean install would fix it.

I've uploaded a video onto YouTube showing what I mean. Sometimes the menu bar doesn't load for several seconds, other times it loads pretty much instantly...

 
Weird, my Mac Mini M4 just threw a strop or something.

Suddenly the Stream Deck (not Steam Deck) stopped working, so I rebooted but I couldn't get the OS to fill up the screen, I had black bars top and bottom on my Huawei Mateview monitor (it's a 4:3 ratio). The OS suddenly lost that resolution option for me to select. My side monitor that I have tilted 90 degrees now is displaying sideways.....and also everything is the wrong resolution, and the wallpaper too changed back to how i had it in the first 2 weeks, as opposed to the last 6 months....

It took 2 reboots before it fixed itself.

Oh god how do I turn off showing ALL APPS FROM ALL DEVICES in the apps button !??!?! I just want the bloody apps on my Mac thank you !! :rolleyes: :mad:

I googled it and apparently I have to turn off handoff completely which I don't want to do !! I just want my apps button to show me the apps on my Mac, whose stupid idea was it to show all the apps off my phone? Its just full of clutter that way!

lol just click the filter button and untick iPhone apps, you don’t have to disable handoff.

Huh?

My apps folder isn't showing anything from the phone, where are you seeing this?

if you use remote iPhone access then it will show all iPhone apps in the new apps button, you can filter them off though.

Oh, you mean Spotlight?

I don't use it, I use Alfred so that's probably why I'm not seeing it. That's fair enough.

I'm fairly new to macOS as a full time user. Recently got my self a macbook air to replace my wWindows Lenovo laptop. Upgraded to macOS 26 last night & tht's the first thing I thought as well
