We just got a free round of pints, which I assume is a loyalty bonus for all the beer we are drinking.

We r00l.

Edit: Person 1 hasn't eaten since 9.30am and we've told him it's too late for food now. This should be good.

This is the second time I've had something like this appear on my lottery account. Not sure if its a sign that i should stick to playing the lottery cos I'm getting close to the right numbers or if its the lottery sticking two fingers up at me!

Full of snot and lurgy :(

Went to visit friends yesterday with (I thought the tail end of) a mild sore throat. By home time I was definitely ill!

Probably from earlier on in the week. It wouldn't have come on that quick. My missus started feeling ill this weekend but she'd just come back from holiday on Wednesday so trapped in a tin can with other tourists probably did it for her.

Yup, flying/international travel always seems to get me. About 3 days later it sets in.

I woke up Wednesday morning with a tickle in my throat so that's the lead in.

I planned to do a lot of house tidying today as well, in-laws coming tomorrow!

I got back from our old lads trip last night. I am the daddy in our group. They are useless! I had to arrange all travel- I think we did about 800km by train/ bus in 4 days.

We went to Merida, where I walked up a big hill in flip flops in the baking sun. The taxi driver later thought I was mental for doing that. We passed this during our pub crawl there:

Caceres was lovely, as is Trujillo.

Chaos in Madrid yesterday, as the Vuelta cycle race was stopped by a big Palestinian Seprotest.

We day ftripped to Toledo which was baking hot and very hilly, bit a nice place.

We drank vast amounts of beer, and I got one pub to play Ratamahatta by Sepultura- that's a win!

Oops,

Walked over to get some scrap paper out the printer, meeting going on in the room behind me, i like someone, anyway, got distracted by looking, turned round and walked in to a cabinet

Clearly i was not looking where i was going :(

i bet i had some stares

Gone a bit holiday crazy.

November, Japan for 2 weeks
December, Hong Kong for 8 days
January, Belgium for 3 days

Both the cost of the flight + accommodation of the HK + Belgium trips together combined, cost a fraction less than my economy ticket alone back in April to Hong Kong.

Seen it happen more than once.

I will , i have been building up my solo travelling confidence, although its mainly because of work. Although Japan is im not sure if its one of those places i would like to experience with someone, rather than without someone.Although i love the culture, the people.

There are quite a few Asiapac countries i would love to visit

I love scooting around on my own now. You get more freedom, although i still am unsure if it edges you on to do or try the amount of things that you may do if you went travelling with someone - I guess it does, as you are not always worrying about if the person you are travelling with is in to it or not.
