Why is that particular memory kit so often recommended? If 6000mhz C30 is the sweet spot why recommend a kit with such awful timings of C48? Not having a dig, just curious as I see it recommended so much. Not everyone has the know how or inclination to mess around tightening up memory timings and the testing that goes with it.
i guess what i would say is this means nothing to me as i just want to plug and play LOL

You can get good 32gb sets for £80-90, but honestly I'd pony up the tiny bit more for the 48gb if I was spending £110 on RAM, if it's mainly gaming go for the Gigabyte Eagle motherboard to recoup some funds, you're really unlikely to miss much.
not really worried about the extra as i guess we all do it, set a budget then take a look and like to go a little over for the next thing thats better :)

Any advice on Keyboards from anyone as currently rocking some cheap gaming one i think its trust or something like that

I'd say it's best to find a switch type you get on with if you're unfamiliar with mechanical boards, they make up the majority of decent keyboards these days.

I personally favour browns as I do around as much typing as I do game these days, I find it the best all rounder but many prefer reds or a myriad of other options. If you've a certain Indian related tech outlet nearby they often have a lot of boards/switches on display so you can get a feel for things.

There's currently a sale on the Ducky range at OCUK and they make pretty solid peripherals.

Ok Thanks Gray for the reply again, so i adjusted the basket to include the 48gb memory, does everything look and is there any change suggestions before i bite the bullet.

I'm not keen on AIOs, but I do wonder if your fishbowl case is going to look strange without one. Cases / aesthetics are always personal choice, so eh, just my opinion. Nothing else I'd take issue with.

is there a different cooler you would recommended for me to look at, im not fully set on the case to be honest but i am going to have a proper look its more the components together here i guess I'm a little clueless on :)

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £53.99 (includes delivery: £3.99)

This would do the job without being much more expensive, would look good in your case if roof mounted too.

You could spend more on a superior AiO such as an Arctic Freezer III/Pro but honestly it isn't necessary for your CPU and usage.

ok is this one preferable over the other as never had a cooler like this one before

I mean, it wont have any impact on performance but it'll look better in the case you've selected I imagine?

It has a big empty space with fan mounts up top.

See here for an example of a 360 AiO and then imagine how it'd look without:

Personally, I'd get a more regular looking case if I was going for air cooling, like Antec's Flux, Fractal's North XL or Lian Li's 216/217.

Fishbowl cases look best with fans (usually an AIO) in the top. If you look at the pictures of Antec's C5 ARGB on OCUK, that is a fishbowl case without the top fans. I assume because they expect you to install an AIO in the roof.

There's exceptions with M-ATX at least, I can't think of many Midi cases that don't blow up budgets, guessing it's due to glass tolerance.

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £82.98 (includes delivery: £7.99)

This for example, 3 panel glass including the roof of the case, problem is they tend to have wider bases due to being dual chamber.

ok so thats put the cat amongst the pigeons so to speak, not sure i want to go wider on the case

however i do like the look of the Lian Li 217 Tetras mentioned above, i can only see the white which looks quite good with the light wood, not sure white goes with everything else though

The black is pre-order, by the looks of it.

You may want to look at this post by @throwaway4372 if you go with the 217:

We can always do a re-spec, if you want white parts instead.

Does your budget allow for a larger PSU, 750w seems a little low?

750W is absolutely fine for a 9070XT/9080X3D combo and would be for a 5070TI or even higher end, a "good" 650W unit would run either without issue.

I'd never underspec PSU's for anyone on here, it's important to note that suggested power requirements for GPU's are often overstated by the companies due to the fact there's so many low quality supplies on the market.
