This Instant And Moment - 2025!

One of my Messor Barbarus larva is so gorged on Chicken Breast that it looks like an overfilled water balloon.

Ordered a pint of Singha at the bar in the hotel I’m staying at, and with seeming genuine remorse, the bar keeper’s just apologised because she’ll have to give it to me in a Bud Light glass, as they don’t have any clean Singha glasses.

I really don’t see that as a bad thing personally, it just means that somebody’s less likely to nick my pint if I leave it unattended if they think it’s that American ****-water…

I will , i have been building up my solo travelling confidence, although its mainly because of work. Although Japan is im not sure if its one of those places i would like to experience with someone, rather than without someone.Although i love the culture, the people.

There are quite a few Asiapac countries i would love to visit

I love scooting around on my own now. You get more freedom, although i still am unsure if it edges you on to do or try the amount of things that you may do if you went travelling with someone - I guess it does, as you are not always worrying about if the person you are travelling with is in to it or not.

If there is one country on earth that is solo travel friendly, it is Japan.

Google maps and google translate makes it a breeze together with their culture it makes it one of the safest places to be for a solo traveler.

On paper it sounds daunting but in reality it amazing and a real experience. Every time.

Sitting waiting for a new fridge to be delivered as they announce the delivery slot at 6.30am on the day :o

I do not appreciate being up this early and my shoulder hurts from moving the old fridge last night. This is not how I should start my birthday :P

Sitting on a hotdesk working in the BMW dealership whilst my car is in. They need to top up my coffee and biscuits

I'll say this for the Nissan dealers I've used so far - they are usually pretty well stocked on water, hot drinks and biscuits and quite happy for customers to dig in. Albeit with the prices they are increasingly charging.......

Yeh they seem to treat you well to be fair

I've always used collect and drop off service when the car is in for MOT and service. Is there a reason why some ppl go there and hang around until it's done?

Which dealership? Never seen it offered at any of the premium places so didn’t know it existed.

Closest Land Rover dealership is 30 miles from me so makes sense to wait sometimes.

I dont know, they did offer a taxi as my office is around 5 miles from here, but doesnt really matter as i can work remote anyway, im usually in the office most of the time.

I can keep tabs on whats going on i guess

They often don't make a thing of it but most of the garages and dealers I've dealt with offer a collection service and/or courtesy car (though often limited availability) if you have both MOT and service done. For some reason in my experience they often keep it kind of on the low down unless you ask and/or are a regular customer.

EDIT: Though the ones I use generally cap at 5-10 miles.

Got my windscreen wiper blades changed and fitted today. Only $68 for the blades and $7 for the fit. I feel like a new man.

On yesterday's results, Trump could be good for Britain and a win for Keir. Can they keep it up? France is going basket case in double quick time.

Formal family occasion up in London this morning and I manage to create a small rip on my suit trouser seam. I meet mother at the train station and cheekily ask if she happens to have a needle and thread in her purse. A few moments later and I am on the train sewing my trousers back together. :o
