Upgraded my 14 Pro Max and now I've lost my audio feedback while typing. I've turned it off and on again in Settings but that's not fixed it. Haptic feedback is there. Not sure some of my other notification sounds are now muted to.
 
Is anyone having issues with emails from gmail coming through to the Mail app?
Since installing 26 on both my iPhone and MacBook the Mail app on both devices just constantly says “connecting”. Emails will occasionally come through but very sporadically.
I have two other Outlook accounts on the Mail app and they are working fine.
 
iPadOS 26 has ruined multi window for me, I used side by side full screen browsers/apps.

I can get over the extra steps to do it and the small gap it leaves between them but it then breaks the browser back page gesture it resizes the window instead. Can’t see a way to get it working
 
I want some scammer to phone me so I can test out that screen calling feature, before I enabled it I would get at least one a day, typical that when I want someone to phone me I don't get one.
 
I downloaded a photo that was emailed to me today. It's nowhere to be seen in my library but if I go to collections it's in "recently saved". Am I doing something silly? How can I make it so all photos are in my library?

Check Files app under downloads.

Good shout but it's not in there.

I've found it. It's almost at the beginning of my camera roll, it's ordered it by its original creation date as opposed to when it was saved onto the phone. Has it always been like this?

Not sure if it's always been tat way, but you can change the layout between sort by date captured and sort by recently added. In library > all photos > the three horizontal lines is where you can change to sort by recently added, not sure if this helps?

The only really major thing I have noticed with iOS 26 is that it takes slightly longer to update apps. Not a problem but annoying when you have 10+ all needing an update at the same time.

Quite a few changes in CarPlay with iOS26. The introduction of widgets is cool! The new layouts in the Apple Music and Podcasts apps also took a little getting used to.

It’s running very smoothly on my 15 Pro Max, I’ve not had a single issue so far.

Some nice minor touches like after selecting a destination the ‘go’ button is immediately visible rather than needing an extra press.
 
Spoke too soon.

I’m getting:

Weather app freezing when I open. Can’t scroll down. Have to force close, reopen, then it’s ok.

Open email and it just stays stuck on “Checking for mail”. Actually, just logged into the 2 gmail accounts via web, gone back to email app and emails now coming through.

For me (i've been running the beta) IOS 26 isn't too bad. I even think after a few more incremental releases it will be quite the step up. I have a 16 pro max though and running it on that vs my 4 year old ipad, it's a very different experience. So given the majority of folks are running 2-3 year old devices I think that's a big part of the issue with it.

Now Tahoe...another story.

The new look of the Music app threw me a bit, I struggled to find anything at first. I think I like it now though.
 
Got my iPhone 17 Pro Max. Now using iOS 26. My god, it’s foul. The icons are like a toddler was tasked with making them look like it’s 2007 again.

And why is the damn time so small with a ton of empty space around it when you have music playing on the lock screen.

And if you have dark mode on, safari gets really glitchy with transitions to the favourites pages, etc.

What a mess.
