*** Big Fat Weight Loss Thread ***

Down to 82kg now, really noticing it at the minute my wedding ring keeps falling off my finger so need to get a new one a size or two smaller. Still got a bit of a belly so a way to go yet.

That's on my list as well, more than once I've moved my hand too fast and it's flew off :o

During my training for my 70.3, I lost so much weight I had this, one afternoon I was re-laying turf in my garden, finished the whole thing and then realised after it had fell off!!

TL;DR get it re-sized or a new one :D

Tungsten here as well, thankfully that means it's only about £40 to switch out for a smaller one though.

Pretty much back into my 'new nomal' routine after my holiday. Still walking 7km most days, although the weather hasn't been the best recently so I have missed some days (and gone out in pouring rain on others which really ins't enjoyable). For the last 2 weeks or so instead of having my usual wrap at lunch I've been just having soup and finding it just as filling as the wraps. I have been munching on M&Ms a lot though (probably because I bought ~3kg of them)

Weight this morning was 83.9kg and seem to be bouncing around this for the last few weeks which is somewhat frustrating, but at least it isn't going up

Urgh, the winter bug season has opened in style. Managed a decent hour on the static bike on Monday but have had muscle aches and fatigue the rest of the week. The other downside is that I’m having quite a hungry week to go with it.
Consistently at just under 90kg for the week which is nice, but wouldn’t exactly say I’ve made progress. Might try to squeeze a quick spin on the static bike tomorrow at some point.

Feed a cold right…? Or is it feed a fever? Whatever  :p

Haha just feed it whatever!

I think I’ve noticed a pattern where I feel lousy in September because I overdo things in the heat in July and August and my body gives up!
Just about to buy a new bike to give new motivation :D

Interesting how most people say it does work pretty well! Willing to pay and see if it works myself but not sure i'll meet the threshold of actually being allowed to use it!

Assuming your BMI must be pretty reasonable then? That's pretty much all the online places seem to go on.
its right on the brink of 30 so they dont consider it "obese" technically and therefore rejected.

I should have said i was an inch shorter or a couple kg heavier and it would have been approved!

Haven't really posted about it since the Mounjaro thread in GD got taken down.

I started in May, been going up 2.5mg every pen. Currently on 12.5mg. I think I've been really lucky in that I haven't had any serious side effects. Sometimes I get backed up for a couple of days. But that's the only side effect I've had.

I'm 3 stone down from 18 stone 11 to 15 stone 11 (~19kg). I eat a lot better and I've been doing a stronglifts routine 3 days a week. Visibly a lot more muscly and slimmer. Went from wearing 2XL t-shirts to wearing L t-shirts. And size 40 jeans to 36 jeans (I suspect I can fit in 34s now).

I had an XL belt from John Lewis, I was on the 2nd hole, I ended up punching 2 new holes into it. Bought an L version of the same belt, and I'm on the last hole now and might need to start punching holes again. Buying new clothes is expensive haha.

My BMI has gone from 38 to around 31.5.

On a typical day I don't eat breakfast. If I'm WFH I'll have a huel black for lunch, if in the office I'll have 2 chicken breasts and coleslaw/salad. Dinner will be whatever the wife has cooked, sometimes healthy, sometimes not the best - but with mounjaro I don't have the psychological desire to completely finish my plate, I stop when I'm full.
And if I go to the gym in the evening I'll have 2 scoops of whey protein afterwards ~200 calories and ~45g protein.
Also taking creatine 5g a day.

Awesome work @Mason- the injections will get you so far, but the fact that you appear to have increased activity and had a mindset switch with food should help things stick long term. It’s ok to enjoy food and eating!
