Messy sessions for both McLarens which can only be a good thing for the spectacle I feel.

Seems there might be some rain overnight to that should wash the grip off the track so all to play for tomorrow hopefully. Can't see either of the McLaren drivers risking it all to get pole instead of 4/5th for example so opens it up to the guys not in the championship fight

Yeah car looked all out of sorts, however Oscar has avoided a penalty for a yellow flag infringement.

Lewis still close to usual suspects, but what were their respective engine levels?

Here's a random question.... End of lap 1 there and they've made the cars go through the pit lane behind the safety car.
Normally if the SC comes out it picks up the leader just after the pit exit..... to pickup the cars to go through the pit lane how does the car manage to pick them up at the end of the lap instead?

Edit: Actually I suppose its possible the SC is just sitting at the start of the pit lane in this instance to pick them up

Dont normally watch the F2 stuff.. I can only take so much Motor-Sport in one weekend and its Derby day too. But Its been an eye opener

F2 races are usually either full circus tent or great with very little in between.

The amount of rubbish on the track, coke cans, branches, not good for f1 cars and there's rain in the air possibly too for qualifying.

Oh, didn't realise Leclerc is going for his fifth consecutive pole here today, not that he's ever converted them to race wins.
