*** The Official AirPods {all gens} (and AirPods Pro [all gens]) thread ***

As long as they finally solve the bug bear of me picking up mine and one of the buds isn't detected. SO then have to shove it back in, rattle it about, and hope it picks it up. Quite often then finding out that the battery is very low.

Both APP 1 and 2 had/have this issue.
 
My AirPods Pro 3s arrived, bass is a nice noticeable bump, fit is good (Never had an issue with my Pros 2) and just slipped them into the Spigen Urban Fit (Black) case!

Will test over the weekend but the ANC seems a fair bit stronger with the Bud position change, foam ear tips .......

My AirPods Pro 3 have just arrived. Set them up on my phone and now just charging them up. Looking forward to giving them a listen in a couple of hours.

I've got mine setup, and I'm very impressed. Compared to the Pro 2's the ANC is significantly better and I already thought the ANC on those was great.

Sound is very good, bass actually seems to exist but I think a lot of that is due to the new tips. I don't think I'll be trying after market tips on these.
 
I'm seeing slightly mixed reviews on the 3s. Seems they've had a bump in bass but it's the very low/sub-bass and the overall sound has suffered slightly for it, with a couple of reviewers preferring the APP2 sound. I'm interested in getting some just for the better ANC and foam tips but not at the detriment of the sound.

I’m more than happy going from 2s to the 3s bass is much better as is the ANC but maybe Apple will tweak the sound with a software update

I’m getting these, they just haven’t turned up. I went from 1 > 2 and the difference was stark. So if they’re an improvement on the 2 > 3 the jump would be worth it.

Curious to how your batteries are holding up?
 
Interested to see everyone’s thoughts on APP3. I’ve had my APP1’s since November 2019 and I think I must use them every day at this point but they’re definitely starting to struggle with holding charge. Few static noise issues on transparency mode (fine with ANC) but considering they’re 6 years old at this point they’ve been fantastic.

It definitely feels like the right time to consider an upgrade so it’ll nice to see what everyone says here.

I've just ordered one, John Lewis though as I have some vouchers there that needed to be used so won't get it for a week.

I only have the APP1 as well but mine died about 2 years ago when the ANC stopped working so have been using some Nothing Ear(2) since. Going to Japan and Hong Kong in the next few months so lots of testing will be done and have my XM4 to compare. Honestly, if the APP3 is good enough I might not even bring the XM4 to save space and have some wired earbuds in case I need an wired option as backup.

I was looking at the Spigen one, the Nano Pop? Which one did you get?

That said, that joypad one has magsafe compartibility and a lock mechanism, which can't be said on most of the others.

Spigen Urban! Didn’t want to stick to the top case/door, I always go with Spigen for my phone cases last case from Mous for my app2 were amazing but they don’t seem to have app3 cases as yet?
