Have a bent pin on my am5 socket , god knows how but , its there. Anyone managed to straighten one or know anywhere that can do it??

If you have a steady hand, then it should be possible to straighten it with a sewing needle or similar. I've straightened a load of pins on an AM4 CPU (my 1700) with a knife, but never on a socket.
As said though, if Vince is willing to take it on for you, that's probably your best bet.

Also, you can find a pin-out map and identify what the pin in question does... If you're lucky it could be something not that important (like 3rd/4th memory slot, a temp sensor etc.), in which case you could just ignore it and try to remember to inform the potential buyer if you ever sold the board.

Pre-edit: Here -

Vince has a repair thread somewhere in the forums
Pretty certain he has the required skills
Seen him replace pins on cpus before which is
Lot more difficult than straightening a bent pin
I have straightened plenty on cpus
But in the motherboard socket is more awkward to
Work in
Yeh I've repaired cpu pins before with a credit card, am5 skt is a whole different ball game.

Here's vinces repair thread
Does a lot of handheld stuff but can turn his skills
To pc stuff I dont doubt at all
