Yea, I skim his videos because it’s mostly ads and stupid stuff.
TLDW is that the new glass is legit, and the Air is really strong for its thinness so people shouldn't worry.

Apple techwoven case for silver 17pro just arrived, got it in green and it feels and looks great, has a really nice lightness to it.

had some problems transfering over from my 15pro to the 17pro. In the middle of the transfer I got the "keep the phones close together" message, and after that it stayed on the pro15 screen and the transfer didn't want to progress. I ultimately had to wipe the new phone and start again.
Also, as others reported, my watch didn't want to pair. Tried multiple times. I eventually unpaired it from the old phone and then it paired ok.

Everything has gone over fine for me including my event tickets I wasn’t sure about. Still waiting for my eSIM though. Easily the most annoying bit of having an eSIM with a small provider is that you can’t just transfer over.
The battery is great so far (charged and unplugged at 100% last night, still at 74% now! My 13 pro is nearly dead), not had a chance to really test it out though, not until I can finally retire my old phone.

Picked up 17pro from local apple store at 11am this morning. My apple account has been fine, checked it last night and no problems, today when trying to log on to new phone it was having none of it, when trying to login via browser on PC it appears my account is now locked and need to request access to it which can take 24 hours. Tried to copy data over from my pixel using their app and would constantly fail saying couldnt find an iphone even tried using a cable which would trigger the code but then fail. I am on the verge of giving up on it 
Exchanged the 17 pro max today for the air. So much happier! It actually feels like a new phone and some what of an “upgrade” if you can say that. Either way a lot more exciting to be using something fresh and hopefully more “robust” than the aluminium chassis of the 17 pro max. Got the extra battery too.
On 19 September at 1 pm, no issues.
I don't understand the hype for the Air. Never in my life since using iPhones / Android phones have I said a phone was too thick. Plus with all the downgrades that go along with the Air I think I must be missing something.
