Used the large tips on the APP2, use medium on the 3’s, much more comfortable, noise cancelling much better on a walk into town, can’t hear the traffic. Sound quality is definitely better.
 
Just got the AP3's in today. Quick comparison to Bose QC Ultra 2nd gens I've been running daily:
  • Bose seems to have better ANC, especially on the low end, but more white noise.
  • Got a slim 120mm fan at 2000rpm about 80cm away which the Bose blocks out completely. Still audible on the AP3's but music/ game audio drowns it out in combination with the ANC.
  • Portable AC unit about 2m away. AP3s picks up more of the hum from the compressor but less 'whoosh' from the fan.
  • AP3s seems to be a lot better with voices than the AP2. Seems similar to the Bose.
If it's anything like the AP2's looking forward to the firmware updates.

Only been a few hours but I prefer them over the Bose due to the comfort and less white noise. Nicer controls on the AP3 too.

Not an audiophile but these have more bass. Feels like an xm5 with clearer voices.

actually not too bad on battery life but I have noticed one is crackling a little. My issue is they drain the case quick and when the case is dead but the headphones are alive it doesnt connect
 
Im surprised at the love for AirPods cases given they are so utterly disposable and it’s not like a mark on the charging case impacts the audio experience.

I never had one for my Airpods Pro but had one for my OG airpods because the case added a wireless charging feature to it.

I like how the airpods fits into that little pocket in the jeans.

Me too. I never use a case but I looked at those Ryan cases above and they looked pretty neat.

I then checked their dog poo bag holders and was shocked by the price!!
 
I have a strange issue with my left ear APP3 I’m out walking my dogs and the left ear bud clicks every time I look down or walk at pace?

The seal on the APP3's are so much better than on the 2's - not even up for debate.

In terms of ANC it will probably take a while to see if they truly are 2x better than the 2's they replaced but I'm certainly happy with the sound quality so far.
