Fernandes wasted his career at United. He should have been at one of the big teams.
For me what I saw today was Bruno at his industrious worst. He was playing like a lunatic when it was not required. It reminded me of how he turned 1-0 at Anfield into 7-0 by playing chaos ball when it wasn't required. Conditions were awful but I really though Bruno was very in disciplined and had we been against 11 then it could have been a different outcome.
2 points off top 4 lads!
7/15 points. Probably would have taken that given the fixture list.

I thought it was a very encouraging start from us but quickly descended into what we have seen in most of the other games. ie good competition, winning duals, half decent pressing but a lack of care in the final third. poor decision making, poor execution and ultimately letting the opposition back in a game that should have been a cricket score.
If I'm being charitable - conditions were tough and we created opportunities but not clear chances.

Pleased with Dorgu and De Ligt. Dorgu has a problem with end product but his engine and defensive play was very good. Mazraoui decent also but he's not a wing back.

Very messy. Maybe slightly fortunate but not really the step forward a win against Chelsea should be.

Only you on a day where Casemiro nearly cost us 3 pts would be blaming Bruno :D Thought he played well today

Take your point. I just thought he completely misjudged the captain's role especially when he was not playing as 10 but still running around like one. Both him and Casemiro should have lit a cigar after the second goal but they were reckless. You cannot fault Bruno's effort but you can critique his intelligence.

He was very risky at times today, I agree. He’s just so desperate to win. I can’t say I blame him. But his ill judged passes really did put us under unnecessary pressure.

Is he trying to take up the slack in the rest of the team by trying to be everywhere?
I think he thinks its the best way to lead and inspire. As I said before its slightly churlish of me to be critical of him but that game cried out for discipline and control and neither Casemiro or Bruno kept their emotions and it nearly cost us. If we are honest we pretty much fell apart once down to 10 and a good captain arrests that.

We were utterly comfortable and would likely have run out that game 3-4 nil if Casemiro wasn't sent off at half time. Chelsea are a decent side even without Palmer and for 45 minutes we lost our most important midfield player in a midfield that isn't great when its full strength.
