I don’t think you can count Verstappen out if McLaren are going to have more shockers like this.
It worries me that Stella says Max is still in it. Suggests they know their car performance is dropping in comparison to the others (ie Red Bull). Or rather that the others have finally caught up.

You kind of wonder if McLaren have stopped working on the '25 car assuming its in the bag. I mean the Constructors already is anyway

Great drive from Verstappen as we'd expect. I'd forgot Russell was sick this weekend too, so that's a solid effort too. Williams will be over the moon with Sainz staying out of trouble. Decent from Lawson and Antonelli too. Antonelli desperately needed a solid result.

It's been a weird/unique race weekend. The wind issues yesterday resulted in a mixed up grid and then the race turned out to be one of the worst dirty air/drs train races in a long time. Id be surprised if McLaren fall off bigly, that said they had a dip towards the end of last season as well.

Max impeccable as expected.
George had a great race and Carlos on podium is brilliant to see for both him and Williams.

Great result for Sainz, and well done to Lawson and Kimi. Russell will be pleased with 2nd. Max had it easy. Norris fails to capitalise on Piastri's blunder.

Not a classic Baku.

As soon as I saw him on pole and the other cars behind I knew he had already won the race never under any pressure.

I wouldn't pay to much attention when they claim sports people are sick etc it's always exaggerated (If you was that ill you wouldn't be able to complete & in this sport it only takes 1% difference from a driver to be a big difference)

Did Hamilton mess up handing the place back to leclerc or did he have a bad exit of turn 16?

See it was only 0.4ish between them over the line
