The last game you completed, and rating.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
6/10
Looked pretty but I found the map irritating to navigate, and the battles quickly became tedious to play through.

Fight a 5 minute battle, run forwards 100 yards, fight another extremely similar battle, progress another 100 yards, fight that battle yet again but this time there's more of them, repeat over and over.

Not for me. Uninstalled near the end of act 1.

The Invincible, a sci-fi (hard 50s style) walking sim based on a book I've never read: 6/10

A rough around the edges experience, the story hinted (at least to me) of something far more dramatic going on than actually happened but it was still enjoyable and there were some difficult choices to make. It was quite atmospheric in places but some of the mysteries you don't get to uncover in game (possibly answered in the novel)
Even by walking sim standards I felt there was too much filler (walking/climbing without any dialogue with your radio contact), that has made it so I won't be giving to chapter select to try get alternative endings. Not a bad game by any means but didn't feel as into it as I did some of the more popular ones.
It may have been restricted somewhat due to the tie-in to the book but I'll never know.
Thats one more game I can mark as completed anyway.

tbf I'm similar to TNA, I wait a while before buying until its near the 20ish mark, obviously the cheaper the better :P I will buy stuff that I'm highly anticipating though, I think the new GTA will be one of those.

Yep. Like when Deus Ex Mankind Divided. As a big Deus Ex fan I just got the edition that came with all future DLC. Was over £35 I assure you :p:cry:

You better not be lying to me :P I'll find out ;)
I did nearly fall off my chair when you said:

I still call BS, unless you were drunk :D

Lol. Here you go:

Somewhat tempted to get Bloodlines 2 also now that they restored the missing clans they wanted to charge for. But still knowing they reduced rpg and made it more action has put me off a little.

I might grab it if a tcb or quidco offer comes along

With todays money that's like £60 or something :p:cry:

Oh and if RE9 is a little over £35 I will buy that too. It isn’t often, but it does happen :D

Jesus, I nearly had to get resuscitated when I saw that!
What have you done with the real TNA!

Just finished Silksong. I give it 10/10. A couple of dull bosses, but that's really the worst I can say about it. Got all the endings, last boss is amazing. For me the game was easily worth the wait.

Hitman 1, 2, and 3 from Hitman: World of Assassination. Never played a hitman game before - I was looking to get my stealth on, and I was not disappointed.

8/10 easily - and I just noobed through the missions, there's a lot more to see. Have to go back and play detective in the Dartmoor mission!

Halo CE - This was a massive disappointment after missing the Halo games first time around. I enjoyed the lore and atmosphere aside from a lot of reused levels but gameplay wise it's full of cardinal sins. The way it tries to balance gameplay feels so cheap and artificial. The combat rifle for example having a massive spread just because I assume it couldn't be balanced any other way. Mobs spam rolling immediately to your inputs whether throwing a grenade or firing. The final warthog level is one of the worst levels I have ever played in any game.

6/10 mostly for the lore and spectacle on occasion.

Dragon Age The Veilguard
7.5/10

Decent story, spectacular graphics, animations and production. Voice acting mostly good. I'm personally a big fan of the art style.

Combat addictive but not the best; felt a little clunky to me.

Most disappointing thing is the disjointed feeling of the world. It's like a series of hubs rather than a convincing 'world' and I think this overall hurts the feeling of immersion. But some of the areas are very pretty and quite immersive in themselves.

Woke as **** but didn't stop me enjoying it as you can skip dialogue if it gets too preachy.
