on the radio this morning, and happening in uk ,

Apple growers go to extreme lengths to make their fruit look its absolute best so consumers grab it at the supermarket.

Donnybrook grower Neil Yates said he had laid down reflective sheeting ahead of his upcoming harvest to give his apples the best shot at a consumer-friendly colour.

He said the sheets reflected light onto the fruit to give it a well-rounded colour from all angles

apparently bumper apple crop, but our cookers are definitely undersize, even if eaters are sweet.

Is this a double bluff like his tariff game. Is he trying to state that autism, ADHD etc is over diagnosed and false? Hmmm?
 
My personal hmm from today.

After a 6 month NHS wait to get my rotten wisdom tooth pulled today was the day.

I had been told to go to the dental hospital to get it done, me thinking yeah just the dentist and a nurse...
Nope I walked in to 4 student dentists and two qualified dentists!
They one by one said hello to me and told me their names. Jeezo I felt like I was on show and an experiment lol.

They told me all the things that could go wrong etc like nerve damage and I had to sign a waver.

I was lay there for over an hour with the two qualified dentists and one student taking turns abusing my mouth I kid you not!

I swear I'm going to dream I'm being probed by aliens tonight?
 
I had a similar experience except it was a doctor and about 5 junior ones poking one of my nads when I was about 13.

Reminds me of the "Things a dentist could say that a gynaecologist couldn't" joke section on some TV show - unfortunately can't remember what show it was now.

It was at the time! I had a testicular torsion which to date is still the most painful thing I've had. I mean it hurt already and they all insisted on giving it a poke and a squeeze :( On a plus, it sorted itself out so I didn't need an op.
