Post Your Daily Encounter Pics Here

Looking again I'm fairly convinced that it is just a Delphin/Dolphin gray 325i which may or may not have been optioned with an MTechnic body kit of some description when new.

Interior pics would reveal more. If that's what it is, the price is pretty nuts for a molested car IMO.

The ad claims it is a 325i Sport.
All 325i Sports were 2 door saloons.
The 325i Motorsport was the convertible equivalent, as you rightly called it!

It might be one, I was too slow to see the interior before the ad was removed, but the paint colour may be right for a Motorsport if it is Sebring not Delphin. Hard to tell from photos sometimes.

Here's the auction with pics. Auction.

That was my thinking. Genuine Motorsports in good condition and not mental money are hard to come by. And seems like they weren't all optioned with the LSD either.
I really quite fancy one but they are a minefield at what I want to pay. Probably better served with my original idea of an E46.

I also just noticed from those pics that the side skirts are for a 2 door saloon not for a convertible, note how they don't come up to meet the door pod. The convertible has deeper sills than other body styles. They've been bodged on. The fitment of it all also makes me think the M-Tech 2 bits are fiberglass aftermarket parts, not original plastic.

Sitting on ditchfinders too which tells you a lot. :p

I'd say £10K is about its money, maybe £12K if the value of the hard-top is factored in separately. If it were my £10K though, I'd not even go and view it.

If someone pays the estimate for it I'll be shocked.

Kind of looks like a clone trooper from Star wars tbh. Is it mega aerodynamic compared to the normal brick shaped artic (think I might have just answered my own question there).

Didn't get a picture cos the car isn't that impressive despite seeing it three times in about an hour. Just goes to prove that Wally's american cousin is easier to find though.

I thought it'd do better than you based on other auctions I've seen but it ended at £23k

Will be back up for auction soon I expect.

I really cannot imagine that whoever bought it bought it with open eyes and not believing it was something it isn't...
