2nd yellow, yellow for taking shirt off these days
Didn’t even see he got a yellow thought he’d been given a straight by red

Soft yellow as well. Threw the ball away after a foul. Been an unbelievable player already this season but probably needs a little word in his earDidn’t even see he got a yellow thought he’d been given a straight by red
I think he will as he is delivering when asked over all, certainly been impressive tonight I think2 assists for Chiesa today. Huge amount of respect to him for wanting to stay and fight for his place. I hope he gets the chances he's currently deserving.
He should know that he'd get a 2nd yellow for it but its a stupid rule which needs abolishing, especially considering some of the dances and gestures that people do when scoring that dont result in a booking. Rule makes no sense to me, dont even know why it exists. If we don't win at the weekend I'll want to kill him but that's genuinely hilarious from Ekitike. The fact that he does the Messi celebration vs Southampton in the League Cup is one thing but to get himself sent off too. 100% French!
Yep v Palace. Idiotic.And a 1 match ban?
Hope so. Realistically, he's not going to start much over Salah, Gakpo, Ekitike/Isak (presumably one will have to play on the left at some point), plus Rio and possibly Wirtz and Frimpong. But if he keeps performing I'd like to see him get a decent run.I think he will as he is delivering when asked over all, certainly been impressive tonight I think
I think, when the rule was brought in, taking your shirt off was viewed as a form of timewasting, particularly when players would throw them into the crowd and then spend a few minutes trying to get it back and get dressed again before the game could restart.Never understand the reasoning behind a yellow card for taking your shirt off, especially if you are wearing a top underneath
Could argue he gets in over Gakpo atm from a form point of view. Weekend game being example, give Cheisa chance to startHope so. Wasn’t it to stop players from exposing political messages written on their base layers? He should know that he'd get a 2nd yellow for it but its a stupid rule which needs abolishing, especially considering some of the dances and gestures that people do when scoring that dont result in a booking. I've no idea if the rule is the same in other Leagues and whether he knew but the rule is what it is. They want to clamp down on excessive celebrations and taking your shirt off was randomly the line they drew. As above, if we don't win at the weekend I'll want to kill him but it's hard not to laugh tonight. He should know that he'd get a 2nd yellow for it but its a stupid rule which needs abolishing, especially considering some of the dances and gestures that people do when scoring that dont result in a booking. Nah, that's a separate thing.Wasn’t it to stop players from exposing political messages written on their base layers?
Then just have a common sense rule, if they take their shirt off and throw it in the crowd to waste time its a yellow. If not, its not and thats not even counting that some celebrations, sitting down and striking a pose, pretending to take a golf swing etc, all probably take about as much time as Ekitike did to take his shirt off and put it back on. Stupid rule.I think, when the ruls was brought in, taking your shirt off was viewed as a form of timewasting, particularly when players would throw them into the crowd and then spend a few minutes trying to get it back and get dressed again before the game could restart.
Possibly but then have a common sense rule where if theres a political message its a yellow, if you are taking your shirt off and revealing nothing then no yellow card.Wasn’t it to stop players from exposing political messages written on their base layers?
I still remember watching Ginola score and then spend the next 2 minutes chasing players around the pitch in his vest after the game restartedI think, when the rule was brought in, taking your shirt off was viewed as a form of timewasting, particularly when players would throw them into the crowd and then spend a few minutes trying to get it back and get dressed again before the game could restart.
