The rise of Ozempic

Yes it is. Can you tell me what this magic CURE is?

And then you can tell me how this CURE will work for people with certain diseases like hypothyroidism which effects upto 10% of the population. Or people with Cushings syndrome or PCOS.
NOT EVEYONE THAT IS FAT IS LAZY!!!

Not sure what you are tryin to say. You still have to eat MORE CALORIES than your body requires to gain fat regardless of what condition you have.

Honestly, i couldnt imagine letting myself get fat, it is disgusting, how can you look at yourself in the mirror and think, yea i do not see a problem?

You do not get fat over night, it is a process and you gradually see it happen. There is ample time to stop yourself.

That’s the thing, it doesn’t happen accidentally, no one has woken up in the morning, looked in the mirror and said where the **** has that come from.
Gervais did a pretty good (humorous) job of pretty much saying the same thing.
Can’t link because of very naughty words.

I did. Two weeks all-inclusive will do that to you. I made the mistake of getting photos with the Pirates crew in Mallorca...

...then wondered who the chubster in the blue shirt was!

Cutting out the junk food
agree IF junk food definition is expanded to most ultraprocessed products. Commonly only fast food gets the "junk" label. But even stuff that is considered healthy - juice, yoghurt, porridge etc - these days drive weight gain and by extension health loss.
You get added sugar, removed fiber, vegetable oil where it shouldn't be. That in addition to all the emulsifiers, stabilisers, taste and texture enchancers and other E-label crap. Nothing of this contributes to health and nourishment. Engineered to make things tasty but not satiating, and bam, suddenly everyone is "consuming more calories" that they should, even with best intentions.

Behold - the model human being who doesn’t have any issues in his life! We should all aspire to his level of perfection!

Why do people with weight issues get so edgy about it when called out?

The magic drugs wont help you when you come off them, you need to develop correct eating habbits rather than take a drug for the rest of your life.

I don't have weight issues. I could outrun, outcycle or outswim you any day of the week. What I have an issue with is idiots who have no clue what they're talking about, commenting on stuff and judging others.

You've already demonstrated that you lack the ability to understand what others are going through, yet you still continue to comment. Why?

You are right, i do lack the ability to understand why someone would allow their body to get in such a state. I guess thats why i am here, still Commentating.

Trying to wrap my head around it.

I have plenty of issues, but eating too many calories and making excuses is not one of them?

Well on some level people deal with their issues in different ways, including drinking copious amounts of alcohol or comfort eating/not eating.

I also think some people think they have a right to judge when it comes to other people who are overweight.

Stress. Frustration. Anxiety. Depression. These are all reasons people turn to vices. For some its booze, for some its drugs, for some its food. Nobody wakes up one day and goes "yanno what? I wanna be overweight".

It's a symptom of underlying mental issues in many cases, not just "lol just stop eating fatty".

I've watched someone struggle with depression for years, this was once a very high flying successful person, who lost a son to suicude. This person then became extremely depressed, started comfort eating and became morbidly obese and no matter what type of therapy they went for, nothing worked and this person eventually threw themself in front of a train.

This jab would've literally helped save that person's life.

For the most part, that is an one in 1000 case. The majority of people that are overweight it is a simple case of food education, convenience and lack of willing to join a gym

This is the wrong approach. I’m sure if you made us aware of all these issues you have, we could take the same approach in that you should have saw them coming and addressed them immediately.

Well, the difference is i do not make excuses about it. One of my problems for instance, is lack of willing to educate myself further to find a better job and earn more money. I could make excuses about it, for example "no time" " too hard" etc. But the truth is, i am not willing to apply myself to better myself financially. No excuses about it.

Its not the worlds fault, its not depression, its nothing else than being stuck in a rutt.

Why do overweight people seem to have so many excuses, when for the most part, it is there own fault?
