Silent Hill F

Selling quite well on Steam 20K players online right now compared to 23K for SH2 remaster last year (which ended up selling over 2M copies to date triggering a SH1 remaster!).

He is madder than me!

Well to be honest I didn't understand the benefit. I let the app decide my settings for me and I play the game. Don't really have issues that warrant fannying about.
Not like I'm spending 80 quid to play Borderlands 4 and struggle to get a good experience.

Oh yeah. Speaking of, I've been waiting for the other one to drop below 20 quid but it hasn't so far. Looking forward to playing it eventually.

Yeah I call it Borederlands. Hated it after the first, same old. These days I prefer a game with a much stronger story element which something like this would probably give, but I want to play the other one first

Minimal fps hit.

It started with LtMatt, tommybhoy and gpuerrilla. They chipped away at Nexus. But Armageus finished him off.

The guy has not been the same since Armageus whacked him with the ban hammer :p:cry:

What a time to be alive :D

Oh you guys, with your RT shenanigans and hi jinks.

@Nexus18 I looked at that HDR DX thingy, considering it's based on and need reshade to operate, what advantage does it offer over just using reshade in the first place?

It's not the traditional reshade that many think of i.e. basically just a filter adjusting contrast, brightness and so on. From their site, which sums it up best:

RenoDX rewrites the game's DX12 shaders to fix native HDR (and SDR!) and user controls for the game. It uses the Reshade Add-on API to hook into the game, NOT RESHADE EFFECTS.

You can use it to fix a games poor native hdr or if supported, add hdr support for a game that doesn't have it, it is now my go to. RTX HDR is still very good though and my go to if there is no renodx support for the game.

This is for CP 2077, using it to fix the black level and improve overall hdr, photos don't do it justice still but is a good example, look at right side with the box etc. in background

THE WAY IT'S MEANT TO BE PLAYED!!!! #HWRTON

Hmm didn't know there were more RT settings to enable, so did that and well it looks/runs great, locked in game to 60fps and it's basically staying at 60fps apart from a few dips here and there, overall a very beautiful and smooth experience

Even indoors it's great:
