Have you failed to keep up with the modern, highly-digitised life?

I chose to deliberately avoid big social media such as Facebook and instagram, but thats probably because I'm online-antisocial. I prefer to say things in the pub.
 
Tried Facebook but as others have said it's doom scrolling drivel. Good for a quick msg on messenger but why not just text?
All the others don't appeal to me so not entertained them.
I only use YouTube at night for murder stories to send me to sleep.

I don't watch YouTube; : I do but mostly watch how to do stuff like, play songs on guitar/keyboards, how to use music equipment like my new ToneX guitar pedal and Behringer mixer etc
I don't listen to podcasts; : I don't
I don't have an Instagram account; I don't
I don't use social media; Dude you use this site, it's way worse than Facebook most of the time. I use Facebook to mainly run a music Group.
I couldn't name one "influencer". Me neither

Check out moneybags over here. I can't afford to spend £7/pint to air my opinions. You lot listen to me for free.
 
I have one foot in the game.

I use Reddit a lot, i consume a lot of YouTube daily and I enjoy scrolling on Instagram whilst I'm, sat on the throne.

I have very few ads on Facebook and basically only see the things I'm subscribed to.
The things that people say on here are way worse in most cases so yes this is worse in a lot of cases but I love this place most of the time.
I've also had nobody on Facebook report a photoshopped made up picture to my bosses while on here it's happened :(

Oh, goodness. You don't think you see many ads on Facebook? Their algorithm is constantly feeding and advertising to you.

No I don't.
I've just gone on my FEEDS Timeline and out of 30 posts I have one advert for Adobe, everything else is what I'm signed up to like IK Multimedia or VUE Cinema.
I might be signed up to Adobe because I did ask questions last year on their group.
