Purchased on release day about 45 mins after orders opened (mainly because my page wouldn't let me in!).
Was given a 29th Sept - 6th Oct time window from the start which didn't change, until I saw it "Preparing to Ship" the day before then got a dispatch notification at 8-9pm ish for next day delivery

That could be an option although I like the bigger size of the PM.
17 Pro Max 256GB in Silver
I'm still using a 13 Mini, and the Air doesn't really interest me because it's still large, even if it is proportionally lighter. I already find my current phone a bit too big! The best one I had in terms of ergonomics was the iPhone 4S, I think.
Found myself wondering whether I could get away with an old-school feature phone last night
Mine a touch earlier but yea still waiting for any movement on it for the Blue. Wonder if they didnt have enough of them in that colour.
Who knows, could be they slow the shipments to drive up sales?

Those with an Air, what case are you using to keep it as slim-looking as possible?
I went to an Apple shop today to have a look at the new models in person and the Sky Blue I'd sasy looks the worst colour of the lot, it's really different to the pictures unfortunately and looks washed out and not very nice. The nicest colour I thought was the Cloud White with the Light Gold a close second.
I think you really need to see it in person, pictures are not doing it any justice in just how good the phone looks.

Got mine yesterday. Took about 1.5h to transfer everything across.
Sim transfer was almost instant. The banking stuff, you forget how fun that is with starling, chase etc

I’m taking the air back today. For the past few days been using a 17 pro in orange alongside the air. The comparison between both when side by side really makes your mind up quite swiftly.
Had the worst experience with the air and the E sim (sky/o2 fault really and not so much the phone) along with the camera functions such as no 0.5 zoom etc and the slightly smaller capacity battery (and its faff of external MagSafe battery) the air just isn’t for myself as much as I wanted it to be.
It felt amazing to hold, felt like an upgrade! But in terms of reality and day to day use I just don’t think it would have met my demand for the next year or 2.
Wish I’d have just stuck with my 15 pro max as it was a workhorse, but traded that in…. anywho, I think I’ve found the sweet spot with the 17 pro 1Tb, great camera, great battery, not so cumbersome like the max, and the cosmic orange kinda feels like somewhat of a “new phone fresh feeling”
Disappointing experience from start to finish and just goes to show - don’t upgrade unless you really think it’s worth it/is worth it!
Just need to find a decent case for the 17 pro as the current otterbox one is ridiculous! I’ve never taken so many accidental selfies/pocket selfies with this crap case/camera side button!
On the plus, I’ve got a physical sim replacement now and finally have signal again - time to get a pac code and move providers!

It wasn’t an official Apple Store. Just a authorised reseller.
It’s a lovely case. Barely adds anything to the phone. But gives it some semblance of protection !
